I have never had any issues with being kicked until this last patch. It wasn't too bad at first but today I have been kicked about 5 times in the last hour. So given that I won't be playing this game until the issue is fixed.
Same problem here. Login, get disconnected. Login, get disconnected. Login, get disconnected. I've already cancelled my subscription, there's no way I'll continue paying for this incredible server instability.
I am also having this issue. Just starting this game, and giving it a try, but can't get thru the whole tutorial mission part without constant D/Cs every 10 to 20 seconds lol. At least now I know it isn't just me. Maybe they are upgrading or swapping out equipment?
Oh well, Live Long and Facepalm I guess.
EDIT: I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not, but, I went into my firewall settings and specified to allow the Star Trek Online Application AND the GameClient Application in the Live folder to have access. Since then, no more problem. So far anyway. Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall > Allow a Program or Feature through Windows Firewall > Allow Another Program then Browse to the files and select them by hitting Add. This is on Windows 7. I don't know if that had anything to do with my problem at all, so... just trying to be helpful. @_@
at least you guys are getting dc's, my issue has been a CTD at least twice a day with a message saying this .pigg or that .pigg files is corrupted. Never once have I had a CTD since starting in January, but this last patch was a complete mess. Between lags in loading textures, ctd's, and disconnects I'm wondering what mess they've created this time around lol. I'm sure they'll figure it out, ok fairly sure. I ended up doing the forced file verification 3 or 4 times in the hopes that it smooths things out a bit, but plan on leaving that option checked in the launcher options for now anyway.

That is exactly what i had to do 3 months ago. couldn't even log on, and then a wonderful Trekker told me what to do.
I had to quit Trekkin' long enough to come post what had happened. Just hope it lasts (knock on replicated wood)
EDIT: Crud, it's back to dropping me every 20 to 30 seconds. I've tried everything I can on my end. I can't play a game that's going to drop me from the server all the time.

Glad it's working out for you.
