What do I get? Gold from day one

Well since the first post seemed to close to the rest that is was moved or absorbed I'll try a different topic. What do I get? Since lifers no matter what day they joined get the ship. Since F2p and new people can get the ship & title Wednesday as long as they pay life. What do I get?? I have been on since a week before launch. I have paid 6 month sub since the launch. What do I get Wednesday? Because I don?t get the ship for like 10 days or so. What do I and people like me that has paid more than life and been on for almost 3 years get on Wednesday? If this is flaming then Im sorry.. You want to toss this then so be it ill create another way to ask. Boot me from the forums so be it. People know me on this game. People know im a nice guy but this is wrong! A slap to long term gold members. A slap to day one life members. But this is about gold. Not the ship. I want something. I cant be the only Gold member still playing/paying since launch.
Know what I want? I want to quit paying 6 month sub... Well I plan to do that:) but for Gold people that has paid & played for 1000 days I want my 400 points a month but I no longer want to pay my sub to get it. So I want life!!! I know lifers wont like it but I think fair is out of the window. I have paid/played for almost 1000 days and I think anyone who has paid for 1000 days should get that "reward" What about 1000 day lifers? Give them a new badge. What I am trying to say is give SOMETHING to who have been here for a 1000days of paying. Something fraking that shows you all still give a TRIBBLE about us.

You got exactly what you paid for. And you are getting the 1000 day reward a few days early.
What else do you think you are entitled to?
You missed his point he is has been paying since launch!! not a 1 time LTS purchase.
That is the outlook that is killing our country.. No winners, No one better. Just like in my kids school where field day has not first, second places. Self entitled monsters that can get whatever as long as you pay cash. No one better than they other. No such reward for doing a little better or doing something a little longer than the person that just walks into the room.
Only Lifers get the 1000 day early or on day one of their LTS.
Regular Gold accounts will just have to wait it out. At least until the ship hits the Fleet store with 10 consoles+.

So you paid more than most lifers did. Too late to cry about it now.
You're getting a ship that not one single solitary non-LTSer is getting unless or until they stick around for 1000 days or drop the cash on an LTS themselves.

its the point that it is not a reward for lasting a 1000 days. Its a reward for lasting a 1000 days or sinking in cash. It no longer a 1000 day reward
So...? If they didn't do this, someone could always just buy a LTS and come back in two and a half years. The time invested is meaningless aside from specific events.
I think a lot of the upset would be better served by pushing for event stuff to be account-wide.
Stuff like "First Flight Captain," "The Next Generation," 2ns/1st anniversary, nanopulse weapons, winter scarves.
THOSE things were earned. THOSE things say "I was there." All the 1000 day vet stuff says is that you bought an LTS 2.5 years ago. You could get that without logging in or by BUYING a vet account illegally.
Heck, look at the forum cartel. Most lifers have taken breaks. There are lifers like Dagny Taggart who were forum celebs in beta and I'd almost guarantee SHE hasn't touched the game in 2.3 years. So say she comes back and gets the title and the ship. Why? Because she played? No. Because she has a LTS.
There was never anything earned. This at least creates incentive to buy one.

becuase you either wouldnt or couldnt pay for the LTS is not cryptic's problem
its always hard when you think you are getting something special only to see it widely distributed..

basically, your saying you p[aid more than a lifer because you never got a lifetime sub.. hmmm, now you want something in return for your own bad decision.. hmmmm.. you dont want to pay subs anymore, but you still want the perks of a sub.. hmmmm..
well the answer is simple, you should have subbed a long time ago
2, you should get a lts which would alleviate half your argument.
the current long time lts people have more claim to complain. i sympathize for you man, but its your own doing, you knew from the get go that lts gets perks, and subscribers get the shaft. so yeah there it is.. i know it sucks, but thats how it is...
however, i think they should offer a lts to peeps for 100 bucks who have paid for say 3/4's or more of the games up time... i think that would be a good compramise.
Bonus points if you catch the reference.

I heart you and people like you. To keep paying monthly after free to play I guess could be good for you if you left and came back during when you could pay lump-sum payments, but if you are nearly at the 1,000 mark, that means you paid a near bare minimum that is higher than my original #300 + collector's edition & digital content. I tip my hat to you folks.

Anyway, LTS should have been removed after launch. Keeping it around is what wrecked the Vet Reward imho. Now Gold members feel stupid.

For the record, I am a monthly subscriber, not lifetime, though with this wonderful promo the good folks at PWE are offering, I plan on rectifying that.
