Greetings All,

Just wondering if anyone has picked up all three pieces of the Temporal Warfare Ship Set (from the Lobi store), and if so, can you please post the set bonuses?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, the amount of Lobi Crystals to collect is quite significant - I'm just trying to figure out if it's worthwhile to save up for the set or not! Do the items come in reward packs, or are they already bound to character (which I assume is the case)?

Can you tell me what the 2 set bonus is?

    Thanks!

I only have the Converter, as that was the only one useful to me.

I forget what the 2-set passive bonus was (possibly a chroniton damage increase proc to your chroniton fire?).

The 3-set bonus is the ability to reduce your target's turn rate (-200%), speed (-150%), and another movement debuff (-150%), I think. It also grants the user of the ability a buff to turn rate (+200%), speed (+150%), and something else (+150%).

I think I saw someone on the OPvP channel say it can debuff too. They described as a subnuke + tractor beam + AP:O.

They are not in packs and are bound when picked up.

The set bonus for two pieces equipped is added damage if you run Chroniton torpedoes.

Also, I've heard this elsewhere, but can someone confirm that the Temporal Disruption Device does, in fact, NOT do Chroniton damage and does NOT receive the two-piece bonus of its own set? Because the TDD's in-game description says it does Chroniton damage, so that seems like a bug to me.

And does anyone know whch tactical consoles the Chroniton Dual Beam Banks benefit from?
Pretty sure they say antiproton if you right click on them on them in the lobi store.

    I have the set.

Yes they benefit from Antiproton consoles.

The 2 piece set gives you 27.4% to Chroniton projectiles.

Temporal Inversion Field for 3 piece -200% to flight speed to enemies
    -150% to turn rate
    -150% to power recharge

    to self:
    50% to flight speed
    100% to turn
    150% to power recharge

If you see my thread in Ten Foward about openning boxes - out of 245 - no ship!:(

But I came out with an avg Lobi of 5.8 per box - the mid 5 range is what others are reporting as an avg

So when calculating what your costs will be to get a Lobi item this is a ruff est to go by.

Dumb questions, how long does the temporal inversion field last? Ands what's the range for the enemy effects to take place, or is it targetted?

    Temporal Inversion Field:
    5KM Sphere
    3 Min recharge
Seems to last about 30 seconds or so, but next time I do it I will check the actual numbers.

I thought I saw a count of 20 somewhere in the description. I had assumed that was how long it lasted.

I wish - I have the two of the three (though could really use another set of the Chroniton Dual Beam Banks) but can't see how could obtain sufficent Lobi without buying silly amounts of lockbox key packs, so guess two out of three will have to suffice.

Fantastic - thanks for the details!

Have you tried using this to break out of a tractor beam? While the description doesn't include the "Immunity to Movement Debuffs" description like APO, I wonder it has a similar effect?

You might be right. I honestly haven't looked at the bar when I use it because im focused on the targets.

I have not tried that yet. But I will say it saved my sorry behind quite a few times. Even once from absolute death. I popped it just before an isometric charge hit me. I blew up, got the defeated pop up, and then immediately was back alive again with about 40% hull.

Aren't you referring to the Tipler Cylinder "rewind" and not the Temporal set from the Lobi store?

This is the first set I actually wanted and now it looks like since the toon I wanted to put it on isn't my Lobi bank I'm screwed. Hello, account bound Reward Packs for this kind of stuff please?

Just to clarify, the "to self" buff part of this only happens if the 3 piece set is equipped on a temporal science vessel or temporal destroyer (according to the item descriptions).

What a brilliant ploy the temporal set is, isn't it? Yep, Cryptic's marketing department really outdid themselves, this time! Chapeau! Because now, despite that you can buy the ships themselves on exchange, they still force you to use 600 (non-tradeable) lobi worth of lockbox keys to get a uselful, matching set to go with it.

Yeah, I know, nobody's putting a gun to my head, making me buy these, blah, blah. But that's not the point: the point is that you now no longer can get around the lockboxes (at least C-ships with unique consoles you could simply buy).

So, 800 + 600 (3x 200) = 1400 lobi for a fully fitted ship. With no way to circumvent the lockboxes. Great job, Cryptic!

Yes sorry. I guess I got confused when I was reading.

@meimeitoo like you said, no one is putting a gun to your head. It's not like its the best way to go for my destroyer or my wells, but I like it and I didn't mind spending the lobi for it. You dont have to spend money to be efficient. I'm sure I can most likely be outgunned by a destroyer with a full cannon build, but like I said I like the build and it fits the play style I want for the destroyer. Maybe it's different for me because I'm a lifer since launch and I've far out played what I paid for the game so I don't mind spending money when I want something. But you can buy keys with energy credits. Anything in the game or the zen store can be purchased by using in game currencies and converting just by playing. Sure it will take longer but it's possible if you really want something.

So no one knows if the Temporal Disruption Device gets a boost from the two-piece set bonus?

99% sure it does not have an affect on the temporal disruption device because sitting outside of ESD i take the other two set pieces on and off and no change on the damage shown in the tool tip when hovering the mouse over the actual weapon on my bar (the icon you right click to turn autofire on and off).

My guess would be tricobalt but i'm not wasting any resources to get that tac console just to find out because I wouldn't use it anyway. I am however switching my forward torpedo to chroniton to see how that works out.

    Thanks for responding! :)

Sucks, though, that it doesn't benefit from the bonus. Does it make a cool explosion at least?

Just curious, can we equip more than 1 Chroniton Dual Beam Banks on a ship?

I would like to know this too before I spend another 200 lobi on it. The sucky thing is now that they removed where it use to say unique, its pretty much trail and error. For example, the Auto-defense battery can equip multiple if you get the glitch that allows you to claim more then one, same with red matter device, but other c-store items don't. I believe someone said you could equip multiples of the Rapid Fire Missiles, but I do not personally know.

That you for letting us know. I kind of wish there was a sellback policy, some other games have it, to sell something back and get a refund in a certain time limit. But doubt Cryptic will do that, much less get it out there bug free...

That's unfortunate, kind of would prefer it not have been, but it is what it is :(

Dang I was hoping for a pair up front. If you cant equip more than one and it is bound to char then that is stupid of PW to allow the sale.
Sorry to hear you got stung but glad you posted before I bought them.

The Temporal Disruption Device really should be updated to be beefed up by Chronitons for the second set power/console.

temporal disruption device is weak and not worth the lobi. The set bonus for three pieces is a waste as well.

Better off with the DBB and the console and use a chroniton torp for the damage.

I used this with two borg antiproton dhc up front, chroniton, lobi DBB and three borg antiproton turrets in the rear.

I was surprised at how much DPS that I was putting out.

How come the only antiproton stuff available is through crafting? I could not find any ap weapons without the DMG proc!

I don't find the disruption device to be that bad. I'm using 2x antiproton DHC MK 12, the chroniton beam, and chroniton torps fore. 2x antiproton turrets MK 12 aft with the disruption device.

The way I use it is when I get the targets shield facing down I just hit reverse, turn and fire on bare hull. It isn't monumental but its not terrible either
