Basic Rules:
  • The test is in a multiple choice format so there are no "format" issues concerning answers.
  • Only 100% correct answers will be entered into the prize pool.
  • The test site is IP locked. However, you will be allowed to go back and edit your answers.
  • In the event of 0 100% correct submissions, I will then back up to those who only missed one, etc.
  • I have included captioned answers for those items involving me speaking. Anything involving me doing anything, there is no caption.
  • I will record a video of me announcing the winners and will post it here.
  • Answers are on a locked file on a file sharing site. THE ANSWERS ON THAT KEY ARE FINAL! I will release that file only after the contest is over
  • I will film myself giving the prizes to the winners so there are no questions.

    All done, only problem is I wasn't sure if the question about the Borg BOFF wasn't a trick question, since it seemed like Bob was your original char, hence I went with Angela of Borg, but you also had CHill, with 6 of 9, so, here's hoping. Funny irony might be that even if I win, in a month I could have the money for one of these suckers, but, crossing fingers.

    Fair enough, I figured that in the case of the Borg BOFF, you were going by the one in that video, not of another character.

    Hoping #8 is correct -- she vaporized a different number of klingons than you actually said by number in the video.

    Bob, it's worth noting that I found a discrepancy in one of the questions. Watching the video related to it closely, the true number was not available (too high). Shoot me a Forum PM so I can tell you which one, 'cause I had to rewatch that segment a few times to make sure my count was right. I even wrote a tally.

    If I knew how to send a PM under the new forum, I would. Odds are you are discussing the question about how many Klingons 6 of 9 kill. Just count the mobs in the valley. Do not count the ones near the buildings. Also, we are looking for TOS vaporizations, not standard vaporizations.

    That explains it, I counted that last group. But, for future reference, I did figure out how to send Forum PMs. I'll shoot you one with the instructions.

    Okay, good. I quickly rewatched it to ensure I had the correct count and I did. So if anyone else has questions, you are counting the number of TOS disintegrations from the time 6 of 9 gets her TOS gun until the Klingon mobs in the lowest part of the valley are dead. Once we run up the hill to the final objective, the count has ended.

    MIght it help to put an annotation when people should stop counting? Just to avoid the confusion for anyone else?

    BTW Bob, what phaser is that your Borg Boff goes on a X number of vaporization spree with? I mean, I thought all phaser beam pistols were wide or stun, no exploit ones. I figure its from one of the bundles, or is is a non-available item anymore?

    It looks like it was the TOS bundle version of the Type 2 phaser from the mission Night of the Comet.

    Kitsune is correct - That's the TOS Bundle version of the phaser. Both TOS pistols vaporize regardless of exploit.

    I thought those pistols were expose? At least, I'd swear the one from Night of the Comet is, I guess the TOS bundle is exploit? grumble-I want.

    I hav only the one from Night of the Comet and it vaporizes things left and right, its awesome.

    Then the wiki is wrong, unless you're talking about the rifle or disruptor pistol? I'm talking about the phaser pistol.

    The weapon my Borg BOff uses on her vaporization spree is the TOS Bundle phaser. It includes the vaporization effect if she is the one getting the "kill" shot.

    Oh....so its not a vaporization effect due to exploit killing a exposed enemy? Its just if she gets the killshot? Does the weapons from Night of the Comet have this bonus defeat effect, or no?

    I don't think so. I believe the one from Night of the Comet only vaporizes on expose. The TOS bundle one vaporizes regardless.

    The addition of the annotation gives me a different number than when I first filled out the questionnaire yesterday (I was originally confused by the description as well and thought I had it figured out). Can I resubmit my answers with the new number for the vaporization question?

    I didn't lock it. If you visit the link with the same computer, you should be able to edit it.

    I believe it should be pointed out that be tween the Start and Stop annotations you are counting the number of blue vaporizations. Gods know I shouldnt be pointing this out as its may reduce my chances of winning but I never seem to win anyway... so I may as well get the good karma for helping others out.

    Also, the Type 2 Federation Phaser from 'Night of the Comet' seems to have the same chance of vaporizing (eg On the kill shot) as the TOS bundle pistol...
