Will Cryptic consider matching the slider for purchasing commodities to a stack size of 250, rather than only being able to purchase 50 at a time? The clickety-click is time-consuming, does not add to enjoyment of the game, and is going to create issues with repetitive stress injuries to people's wrists.
Since starbase projects quite frequently require way more than 50 items at a time, this seems like an unnecessary restriction. We should be able to buy at least a full stack in one purchase.

Buying "Unique" DOFFs from Ferra still buggy. Sometimes you can buy more than one of a DOFF if they're out on a mission. While I like being able to buy extra copies of rare & very rares, one assumes this shouldn't be happening. & I also kind of want to get one of each, and use the "you can't have more than one of a unique item" pop-up to know which ones I have / haven't purchased yet. If it keep letting me buy T'riss repeatedly, I'll never end up getting to Buy Rhintur, etc. I've got like 4 copies of T'riss so far, just FYI. Wouldn't even be opposed to you taking away all but 1 copy and giving me back the equivalent dilithium to buy the others or a purple with...

I concur! And how about we are able to type in how many we want instead of dragging the slider all around?
Also can we come up with an easier way to switch characters besides logging of then back on? I know it may seem like a simple thing but it can be a pain when we have multiple characters to manage.
Someone asked about Mk XII kits, but what I'd really like to do is build a "custom" kit by selecting four abilities from a menu of powers. We do this for boffs; why can't we do it for our captains? The kit system is very limiting.

Because then I'd drop the stun and smoke grenades from my kit and pick two other good ones

For that matter, consider adding a slider to the Starbase Personnel Officer when buying DOFFs with fleet marks. Having... to... buy... them... one... at... a... time... is... time... consuming... and... annoying... kind... of... like... this...
Likewise a slider for USING the doffs you just bought. When you have a stack of 50 and click USE, well, really there should be "Use" and "Use All" if there are more than 1 in a stack. That is, if there's ONLY 1, just a Use is fine. If there's more than 1 a Use and a Use All option would be handy. Use all would literally use all (up to the max of however many slots you have available). Use would pop-up a slider where you could select precisely how many you want to utilize out of the stack up to the stack maximum or your slot maximum, which ever is lower.
Also can we come up with an easier way to switch characters besides logging of then back on? I know it may seem like a simple thing but it can be a pain when we have multiple characters to manage.
I consider this a MANDATORY change. It'll help reduce fleet log-on/off "spam" too... Especially what with farming DOFFs that's obviously going on w/starbase building & Cryptic seems to encourage or turn a blind eye to it, since it speciously ups the "activity level" of the average player by requiring them to be online longer...
I mean they could shut it down cold by not allowing players to e-mail DOFFs to themselves (of course, then we probably couldn't use the mail system as a "bank" for colonists, Very Rare BOFFs, etc. and everyone would rant and complain that the existing system is BROKEN, which it is, by the arbitrary limits on DOFF & BOFF slots requiring the use of the mail system as a secondary banking system).
But, regardless, no-logoff chartacter switching is a MANDATORY change. Pretty much every modern MMO has this. So generally Cryptic's excuses are pretty much BS for *not* adding this option.
Seriously, just get it done and let's get on with business. See my other thread for a caveat about the character selection screen vis a vis 'adding / deleting characters' SHOULD require re-authentication. SWITCHING characters SHOULD NOT. This AFFECTING THE ACCOUNT should require authentication, things impacting GAME STATE (vis a vis, which character is selected & active) probably don't need to be.
Is there going to be a KDF equivalent to the Armitage? Right now, KDF Escorts seem to be totally underpowered compared to it.
I've heard rumours about Khitomer and the Narendra system as part of the sector in between Klingon and Romulan space. Is this new bit of sector space be a staging ground for more Klingon Content, or is it going to introduce the Romulans?

Number one on my wishlist: New FED transporter effect
Number two: 22nd Century Excursion Jackets
Number three: Handheld communicator animation for non-combadge uniforms
PVP in any other MMO would be of paramount importance, yet STO's PVP has barely changed in the last two years and some bugs and imbalances are still here! PVPers are promised fixes and content in every single Season, yet nothing is ever done. Why?

Buy 50, buy 50, buy 50.
Use all, use all, use all.

You are aware that you can make that a lot faster right? I forget if it's the Ctrl key or the Shift key, but holding one of those down and madly clicking the doff you want will buy as many as you click with your mouse. There's NO need to do it one at a time, just hgold down the key and go at them with a mouse.
Same as OPENING the boxes, some put your curser over the stack and click them over and over until they're all open. It takes a fraction of the time compared to what you're doin' now mate.

A lot of us are patiently waiting for the 700 Day Vet Android BOff to be finished, ie. add versions of the remaining classes and a female version of each of those. Since the tech for them is supposed to be ready by now, when can we expect to see these completed?
So, you can increase your DOFF capacity up to 400... Nice.
But, you can't currently increase the number of MISSIONS your DOFFs can be out on. Any chance of an unlock for that, Zen or otherwise? Maybe add an extra 5-10 mission slots at a time up to some max (40 total?). Dunno...
Or maybe it should level with your captain, or with your department head promotion levels (that is, maybe you get 1 mission slot per department head 'level'; as they level up they're able to handle overseeing more missions at a time)? Just thinking out loud there. So, maybe you start out with 6 department heads + first officer, so you have like 7 slots. Then you level up and promote your BOFFs, you get up to like 14 mission slots. You level up, and promote them again, you get like 21 slots. Once you get them all up to level 4, you'd have a total of like 28 mission slots? But maybe you HAVE to do missions in EACH of the categories, rather than slotting them all into, say Engineering missions? Hmm, not sure I like that last, as sometimes you really do WANT to level level level one DOFF area of expertise like diplomacy, etc. So, you do like 15 of 20 in diplomacy, rather than evenly spreading them out. And, if you had to just use the department heads, it seems like we could do away with the "current sector" & "personal" tabs and just have everything slotted in under tabs for your specific department heads?
Not sure where "trade" would fall in that scheme. Operations, maybe? Or First Officer? Not saying that certain things couldn't fall under multiple department heads, depending on what it was. Like maybe an Engineering department head could give an espionage mission to hack into and disable an enemy listening post. Or a tactical officer could give a trade mission to haggle for prototype plans for turrets or trade for the turrets themselves?
Anyway, it would be kind of interesting if there were some way to expand the number of DOFF missions you can do... Assuming you have sufficient DOFFs to do them without blowing up on the missions.
Might we be seeing some more peaceful missions and content soon? I realize combat is largely where it's at in this game, but it always makes me a bit sad to think of how many millions of sentient beings I've slaughtered in the name of the Federation over the months I've played this game.
Granted, with wars on multiple fronts the galaxy is a more dangerous place than when NCC-1701 A-D were in commission. But surely the exciting Starfleet mandate of exploration and discovery central to the TV shows can be addressed a bit more than a handful of obsolete first contact and random "aid planet X" exploration missions (which are mixed in with a slew of "slaughter between a few dozen (ground) and a couple thousand (space) enemy combatants" missions, anyway).

P.S. Why do federation phasers even bother with stun settings anymore? We're just going to kill our target anyway, so why not just adopt the Terran Empire philosophy from the start?
Any chance on in-game statistics on DOFFs (totals percentages).
For instance:
-- A pie chart telling how many of each rarity DOFF you have and what percentage of the whole that rarity is.
-- How many of each DOFF class (tactical, engineering) as a total and a pie charge w/percentages.
-- How many of each specific DOFF title you have (security officer, counselor, etc.), including and/or excluding zeros in the totals (optional), and what percentage of all doffs are of that specific title.
-- Per DOFF title, what total & percentage are of which rarity (1 purple security officer, 0 blue security officers, 3 green security officers, 10 white security officers, etc.).
-- How many officers have which specific abilities (56 tactful, 3 dominion fugitive, 15 resolve, 1 telekinetic, etc.).
-- within each class, DOFF title, rarity, etc. How many DOFFS are there with each ability, and what percentages, etc.
I think it would be cool to be able to readily see these stats so we can see how our crew is doing, what level they're at, which abilities they're deficient or overabundant in, etc.

If so, it's not a well-documented feature and needs to be made so. Better if the interface were just... BETTER. (More intuitive / OBVIOUS.) Why would someone even think to hold down a key while hitting buy? Especially when it's not documented, or, say, part of the tutorial. I rather hate undocumented features... Especially when the interface could be better designed to expose such features or just make the features part of the interface rather than having to rub your belly and pat your head and stand on one foot while shaking a chicken leg (and holding down the Ctrl or Alt or Del key; maybe all 3 together will do the trick; aww cr@p!)...
*Why do torpedo skills give different damage modifiers to different torpedo types? Is this a bug? For example High Yield gives 55.5% of normal damage, total 222% of normal damage to Chroniton, and Transphasic Torpedoes. But Photon Torpedoes gain 73.7% of normal damage for a total of 294.8% Shouldn't they all be at 294%?
A quick test I did gave me these numbers
Transphasic base, 4690.1
Transphasic Spread III, 1976.6
Transphasic High Yield III, 2590.3
Quantum base, 4625.6
Quantum Spread III, 2521
Quantum High Yeild III, 3409
As you can see even though on my setup Transphasic and Quantum have almost the same damage, Quantum gain a lot higher damage modifier from torpedo skills.
*Why do fleet mines have DMGx3 when DMG does not work with mines? This makes fleet mines expensive items that have zero benefits only normal cheap mines. Why are there no Transphasics fleet mines?
*Some of us like to fly torpedoes boats without energy weapons. Any chance of getting a torpedo boat ship?
Star Trek Online has arguably the best character customization features around; be it an MMO or just a regular console game. In its first year it won awards for its customization options for characters. That being said why can't we make characters left handed?

1- When will pet AI issues be resolved? 6+ months and still broken.
2- When will it not be required to have a free character slot to be able to use the foundry? I went from gold to silver long time ago because of this and to this day I will not delete one of my VA characters simply to use the Foundry. Nor will I buy a character slot for something I should have access to in the first place. Really now, its for players to make content...something the game sorely lacks. Why is it locked out?
3- When will science abilities be worked on? Since the F2P patch the bulk of science abilities have become useless.
4- Is there a possibility of allowing 'mods' of the game's interface? As in, allow players to use their own (like world of tanks does). I assure you that within the week of this being allowed there will be 'realistic' LCARS and KDF interfaces made by the playerbase.
(plus some mods to resolve the issue of color blind players like myself. You have no idea how damn hard it is to see anything in the all-red Klingon interface color set)
5- PVP : any efforts planned to bring it to the game? There is a very simple way to bring PVP into the game and make it exciting for everyone involved..using existing in-game features. Many suggestions have been made in the forums for this...have they even been read by the dev team?
6- Any chance of allowing tier 1 ships to be used on shuttle-events? Or make tier 1 ship events? I mean think about it.. we need to use these iconic ships somewhere other than the first 5 levels.
I'd say races, 'time travel' events, etc. would suit them nicely.
