Constant Disconnects Any Solutions?

So I recently decided to play STO.. and it appears to have potential, but I'd be dammed if I knew. I connect play for about 2 minutes and disconnect. After playing 6 hours, I finally managed to get through the tutorial.

I've tried all the diagnostic tools, and according to them I should be fine.
Has anyone successfully gotten through this issue? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Having massive disconnection issues also. Logging in isn't the problem. But I usually end up getting disconnected within a few minutes regardless of what I'm doing. I could be changing zones, instances, fleet missions, typing in zone chat, or I could be sitting First City looking at the Fleet Window. Doesn't matter, I'd be disconnected soon.

There is another thread about this issue here. Sorry that we've not got any answers in ours but if we get everyone who is having this issue to post in there and spawn a threadnaught then maybe they'll actually pay attention.

I've only been playing a few weeks but I've been having problems with connectivity since day one. It's been especially bad since season 6 for me to the point where the game is pretty much unplayable. I play a ton of different games online and only STO has been giving me problems. Whatever it is, it's definitely on their end and this game is not worth jumping through a ton of hoops for. It's much easier to write a disgruntled forums post and move on.

Funny, I was actually considering giving them money. Oh well, at least GW2 is out in a month.

don't feel bad ice, i have the same problems....login is fine, but still getting disconnected while loading maps...yeah, i'm just killing time till GW2 hits the shelves. there are several threads concerning this, and i'm on the most crappy internet service possible but still able to play GW with no problems whatsoever. even went as far as to schedule some remote time with my ISP to work on connectivity issues (which we resolved with no problems whatsoever). The problems with STO are server related and the lack thereof of adequate server space...

(like i've posted in several threads before, increase the capacity (i.e. add more blades to the servers) during peak times, and most, if not all, of the main problems that keep getting posted will almost but nigh dissapear)

and a relative disregard to actually fixing this for hundreds of thousands of cash carrying players (could of been millions of cash cow players, but hey, i guess making a profit is not on the top of the list or they would of done something by now. and no, i'm not blaming the Cryptic programmers...they are doing a hell of a job with the new updates and content...this is mostly directed at the server monkeys at PWI and what little remains of the cryptic server squad)

oh, and word to the wise (that's you, server monkeys) having to route the game through several remote hosts just to reach your servers was a poor choice. a far better move would be a direct link through as few jumps as humanly possible (idealy....from just your servers to the ISP's which limits the jumps to just 2 or 3 instead of 5 or more that is the current norm...it's what Anet set up 7 years ago, which is why even the most crappy computer and ISP can still play their game....but not you.....noooooooooo. you're too good for that)

"Boy....Don't tell me about how "ubergodleet" you think you are. I was playing games long before you were even a twinkle in your daddy's eye....ever hear of Commodore or Ti99? Yeah....it's like that."

If you looked carefully at the'Trace Route' information, you would have realized that Cryptic has no control over this, as those last gateways are owned by Cogent Communications, (which indicates that its a Internet Server Farm vendor...) not Cryptic Studios...

Though from my Comcast connection, it doesn't appear to be a STO server problem, as its unusual to get 1 or 2 disconnects in a entire evening, and the only possible server issues is the lag loading into ESD and DS9 during Prime Time usage hours... If it was a STO server issue, you would expect EVERYONE to have the same issue, and that simply isn't the case here...

So here I am...sitting in my lounge with my pal...2 pcs running with great internet connection and high speed.
For the past 2 weeks...I am getting constant "server not responding" and then disconnects..it is seriously p***ing me off!!
I pay an annual fee for this game and pay a TRIBBLE load of money for dilithium/micro transactions...and I cannot even play the bloody thing!
I am so dammed angry right now. All other online games work fine...xbox live runs fine..streaming is great...but STO...2 minutes gameplay is all I have with a constant "server not responding"
    and BAM
    booted
Fix this so**ing issue Craptic....so upset by this...its dammed game breaking. Cannot get events done..cannot join teams...cannot complete anything.
I was logging in every 2 mins trying to complete the dance event on risa and eventually it ended and I ran out of time because I kept getting booted all the time.
I have let this slide for the past 3 weeks thinking (oh....they will fix it....they wont leave this issue standing..as it's a serious issue) but lo and behold..the last patch had NOTHING in the patch notes about stability issues....FIX IT GUYS...i'M WASTING A FORTUNE ON YOUR COMPANY TO PLAY THIS GAME...AND ITS HEADING IN THE DIRECTION OF ME JUST GIVING UP"

I cannot log in any more so cannot do even the Fly High mission... guess you know what that means...
I still dream from time to time about using the Gateway to doff off-game in spare minutes as we were told
