One time account code is invalid

I got the one time account code in my mail last night. But when i go to use it i get a message that the code is invalid.

I got another code sent to my mail and got the same message when i tried that one too. wtf

    It may be broken ATM, see http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=311281 Also, I wouldn't expect such a code to be valid more than a couple of hours, lest whoever might want to gain access to your account might be able to brute-force guess the code.

    it must be broken. I tried the second code within 10 minutes of getting it.


    I finally got it to take a code. It took 10 to 20 emails worth of codes before one took.

    I've been having this issue for two days now, and no reply yet from perfect world support. I have had two codes, and I don't know why i got the thing in the first place. I've been playing on the same computer ever since game launch. Did everyone have to get a verification code sent?

    Everyone had to a few days ago when account verification went live on Holodeck, but I haven't been prompted since then.

    Sounds like maybe a bot is trying to use the TRIBBLE passwords and usernames from the last security fiasco still, and it's triggering the verification thing, which for some reason is preventing you from getting on on a already verified PC.
