And one of my problems with this? Fleet Ships take 4 months (allegedly) of grinding to get.
Bug is > than them... And I'm talking the bug that is on Live... not the buffed bug on tribble which is better than a frigging cruiser.
Bug is > ships people paid money for in the cstore.

Nope, Still in my poor old Raptor, its clear the bug has an edge on every other escort in the game but at the end of the day it still comes down to the player imo, a Noob in a bug is still a noob, and people like Thales, MT, yoda etc are still gonna do good dps and blow people up no matter what they are in.

but a noob with a bug will beat a noob without one. same goes for pro-pewers.
My biggest grief is this:
When you ranked from Captain to RA, all the t4 ships became useless. Same as t3 ships became useless when you made Captain, and so on. This means that only the top level ships are viable choises if you want to stay competitive. Right now, we have a tier that is over the current max tier. This one ship makes all other escorts a poor choise. To use any other ship is the same as showing up in a lower tier ship. In essence, you're sabotaging your teams efforts by not running the bugship.
Now this bugs me. Having only one ship to choose from for pvp. Diversity is the thing that keeps players from getting bored, and the bug ship allows for no competitive diversity.
ship balance is pretty good (yes including BOPS and carriers). however the bug ship is buged. a skilled player flying it can single handed win matches. this is a clear example of p2w mentallity this game has taken. spend 300$ and get a god ship.not every1 have the time to grind nor the money to spend on lottery boxes. buffing it even more will ruin pvp. if anything ty should nerf its stats. plus its not canon that bug>defiants

I get the p2w consoles are annoying, but just do it for the fun. If you get your A$$ kicked well, and believe me I find it frustrating too, just go do something else for a bit and go back to it

The Jem'Hadar Attack ship was strong enough to survive plummeting uncontrolled into a planet's surface and subsequently being repaired and flown again (DS9: "The Ship"). I'd like to see the Defiant do that
You don't think that the Jem'Hadar, the spearhead shocktroops of the Dominion, one of the most feared and most powerful factions in Star Trek would be up to the challenge? Starfleet, the KDF AND the Romulans were nearly defeated.
The Jem'Hadar Attack ship was strong enough to survive plummeting uncontrolled into a planet's surface and subsequently being repaired and flown again (DS9: "The Ship"). I'd like to see the Defiant do that

Hell even the Worthless Galaxy could take multiple bugs at the same time.
The only reason why starfleet and the kdf had problems is because Starfleet is a bunch of non agressive pansies that willingly gave away forward staging grounds and also had a host of "peace ships" instead of WarShips.

the bug ship is categorically inferior to the defiant, and at the very least has less firepower then a bop. but, there was never less then 3 of them around.
that escort is a cryptic design, there was only ever seen the huge battle ship, the large cruiser and the bugs

lol what a joker i don't know how to make 10m so this is why i spend 120m on doffs right, and when someone tells you that your toy is op you resort to personnel attacks, hmm i must have really hit the spot on this one.
You can sugar coated all you want but every one knows that bug is op they at least have so much integrity they don't go post on forums how bug is completely fine compare to the rest of the ships. Now go buy your self another 2 apparently you need them to play the game.

I can kill some Tier five Cruiser Captains, in a Delta Flyer.
That doesn't mean that the Flyer is fine for serious pvp. That also does not mean that the T5 cruiser needs a buff.
Cruiser v Flyer, the question should never be asked with a straight face.
Just because you can roll a noob that's in a crutch ship doesn't make that ship fine.

if the Bug were so amazing, the dominion would have made bugs and only bugs. The bug was a cheap scout destroyer.
It wasn't a Battleship/Dreadnought (which they did make for when things got Serious. The Jem Heavy Escort isn't something Cryptic invented)
Also towards the end of the war the only things bugs were killing was shuttlecraft and whatever got caught on a kamikaze ramming speed.

Sorry, you guys are right. I did some researching myself. Have 11 gigs of it. The Jem'Hadar Attack Ship is weaker than the Defiant.
Maybe I'll make a Team Thread down the road...
Yeah the KDF have it abit rougher. That's not to say it's impossible by anymeans it's just a very very different experience from doing it fedside.
