Now that we forced to link accounts...

HI

now that we been forced into this dark unholy ritual of joining accounts.

we no longer have Virtual Cryptic cards we can buy or give to friends thanks aloot please reinstate them.

we also now have to pay small amount more for the amount of dollars to get things.

ships that used to cost 25 usd now cost 33~~ give or take .......... thanks aloot!

please note its also twice as hard to buy c store points.........

Also please note my join date was not jun 2012. i been a member of cryptic before beta... thanks aloot for that too.

you cannot purchase c store points due to not haveing lvl 10 charakter while i have many level 50s...
If only they fix Cloaking bugg :( *new message BOOM decloacked.

    This isn't new. It's always been that and actually they aren't 200% more expensive. People have done the math the conversion is exactly right.

    100 zen has the same cash value as 80 CP, it has always been that way.

    /facepalm The cost is EXACTLY THE SAME AS IT WAS TO BUY CP FROM CRYPTIC ITSELF. this has been stated/shown/answered more times than I care to count. Learn to math before attempting something like this...

    Even worse, i went to buy cryptic points, it sent me to PWE website to buy zen, ONLY problem is that it's saying i need one char at level 10 and doesnt even SEE my STO toons.

    great, no more c-store purchases period

    Transfer the zen to CP points and thats all, only thing I hope is just do away with CP and make it zen so I can buy cards.

    I cant even transfer my zen to CP for some reason. It says under choose server "No Characters"

    30$ = 3000 zen
    3000 zen = 2400 cp
    1$ = 80 cp

    2000cp for 25 usd you used to get 2500 cp for 25 usd. aka MUCH MUCH more expensive. ships are 2500 cp or more< <----

    $25 was always 2000 CP... and other than the flagship bundles... ships don't go over 2000 CP

    When/where was 2500 cp at 25$?

    the prices I listed were dated 13 Jun 2012 03:14:42 GMT

    2k Cryptic points has always cost $25.

    Yea... I spend hundreds on C-Points every month.... I'm sure its always been $25 for 2000 points...

    5 bucks nets you 400 points.... the math is easy

    On top of all that, the option of purchasing through Steam is still there for those of us with the game tied in with Steam.

    "Forced to link" my TRIBBLE. My actual Cryptic account can still buy CP directly apparently. I just use this PW account to post, and life is good. I'm resisting this merger with all my might, or at the absolute least until the CP/Zen conversion process is a ton smoother than it is now. Because right now the process sounds like one big clustersomething.

    You know, I was annoyed that apparently my forum account whatever wasn't linking properly with my actual game account, but looking at it that way it isn't so bad. Annoying still, and redundant and a step backwards overall, but not without its benefits.

    Yup. All in all, if you're smart about it, you aren't forced to do TRIBBLE. The only real drawback, and not a large one IMO, is you can't buy CP or items with CP online anymore. You have to do it in-game. For some, this might be a big issue.

    Just keep in mind, kiddies. Only use multiple accounts for good, never evil.

    wasn't thinking when I did it though part of me regrets merging my account, the other part really doesn't care much anymore. Guess I will stick to buying cpoints through steam, at least until they remove that.

    The only minor issue I see is the loss of the virtual gift cards. My fleet sometimes gave them out as rewards for certain things. I hope they come back in some form.

    *Edit: Just checked an idea, apparently you can still purchase virtual cards via Champions Online. In theory you could just do it there and redeem the key on your STO account. Anyone want to take the plunge?*

    3000 zen = 2400 cp

    3000 zen = 27 euro which = ?21.77 sterling +20% Vat = ?26:12 sterling.

    2000 cp = ?16
    500 cp =?4

    total 2500 cp = ?20 + 20% vat + ?24...

    so..

    2500 cp = ?24

    3000 zen(2400cp)= ?26:12

    there is the math..

    we use ? sterling in the UK not Euros or Dollars..
