I spent some of last night, outside, because of a fire alarm, watching a thunderstorm headed right for me.

That's part of the reason why I'm looking for a townhouse. Well, that, and the rent's gone up, the policy regarding utilities has changed (no longer included) and the strong desire to have my own laundry room.

    News just in: Hort's dead.

Never mind, he will be able to respawn in 5 seconds with a major injury! :p

    Try a *minor* injury - a sprain. ;)

In other news, no looking at homes today; both properties have contracts on them (with one practically "one letter" away from signing).

Last night was mixed berries and lemons...

    Good: Started working out again.

Bad: Store was in terrible shape and I was so tore up from my workout that it was real hard getting the store back to par.

Bad: Had my old three legged buffalo nickle, that I found in a gas station cash register, stolen years ago.

Good: Found an almost as old four legged buffalo nickle in my gas station cash register last night.

Bad: Dealing with a pretty but tragically stupid female customer (literally could not even tell the difference between her food stamp card and her credit card let alone figure out how to swipe it, she had to be stoned).

Bad: Telling the cute goth girl, (that was the next in line and saw me deal with the pretty but tragically stupid female customer), that she acted like a ditz.

Good: Before she had a chance to get offended, followed up by telling her that she acted like a ditz as a defense mechanism and it is a sign of intelligence which is why I like talking to her, (yeah you got me the gothie is a prior acquaintance).

Good: the gothie came back latter and set up a date for tomorrow afternoon. She said something about making dinner followed by comparing anatomy.

    ...

    Hurrua?

No you perverts! Her copy of Netter's to my copy of Gray's. They are books. BOOKS say I!

    I've looked up anime cons.

GOOD: There's one between 12-14 August.

BAD: It's Transformers only! :(

EVEN WORSE: No good ones until next year or else I have to travel to London.
