On a few of my officers, the rank pip color has somehow been linked to the first combadge color. If I change one, the other changes. This is somewhat annoying, since I like a silver badge and gold pips (as seen on TV).
Note that it's not every character either. My character works fine, and most of my officers do as well. Currently the officers that are bugged:
Andorian female tactical
Tellarite male science
Betazoid female engineering
trill female engineering
Ironically, my female betazoid science officer works fine (as do my other officers, which are vulcan, klingon, bolian, and orion)
