Not accepting fleet invitations

I have a strange problem. I want to join a fleet, but when people try to invite me, it says I am not accepting fleet invitations. I checked my in-game privacy options and it is set to visible to all, and no restrictions. Is there some other place where this setting is that I'm missing? I put in a GM ticket but no response yet. Thanks.

    No not on that character. That's the problem, it won't let me join one and I want to.

    Is this a full subscribed account or a demo/trial? If so, you may not be able to join a fleet until you are fully subscribed.

    Lifetime subscription, and the problem is resolved. The cause was the person inviting me was somehow added to ignore. Removing them from ignore solved the problem. Thanks for your attempt to help me.
