C-Store Purchase not being applied to account

A few weeks ago I made a new character and bought the new Federation NX Class Starship Replica for 800 points for him. The C-store description states Note: Purchasing this ship from the C-Store unlocks it for all Federation characters on an account. However today when I went to claim the ship on my Admiral so I could play around with it on the Test Server I'm being told that I have to buy it again for 1215 points. WTF?

So I check my other Federation characters and the 800 point ship has vanished from my C-store and I can't claim it on any of my Federation characters except the one that already had it. Only the more expensive Value Bundle:Enterprise remains. Now I filed a bug report and I'm waiting on the result, but if this isn't resolved I'm spending another dime in the C-store.

    Just to make sure, you do have an open ship slot on the characters who are having issues, yes?

    Oh yeah, I have open slots on my Feddie characters, but I can't even claim it in the C-Store because the 800 pt version for the ship has vanished from my list in the C-Store. I checked under each category and the only place the NX ship is listed in my windows is the in the Enterprise bundle. I started at the top and checked each section 3 times on each character.

    Check the ship vendor on ESD.

    The C-store is a bit inconsistent. In a bad, needlessly confusing way. The Excelsior Refit and Constitution you redeem from the C-store and can't get from the ship vendor at ESD, however the science ship refit (Nebula) can only be gotten from the ESD vendor at a cost of 0 Energy Credits after the initial purchase. It's possible the NX deal is set up the same way.

    I wish they'd just pick one or the other - I'd prefer everything to be re-redeemable via the C-store - or both, but they don't.

    I did check there on my Admiral, but I'll double check again next time I log on. Maybe I missed it. <fingers crossed>


    Edit:

    No such luck. The only two ships there I have available for 0 EC are the Nebula refit and the Intrepid refit. The NX isn't listed there at all.

    Its probably because the C-Store is disabled on the Test Server. If you want to use the 'Enterprise NX', (and the same for the 'TOS Constitution') you have to claim it on a character on Holodeck first, then transfer a copy of the charater to 'Tribble'...

    (It works, and I have to do this all the time when I want to try a beginning character on 'Tribble'...)

    I don't see how the C-Store being disabled on the Test server has anything to do with why I can't claim the Enterprise NX on my characters on the Holodeck "live" server.

    I don't keep characters on the Test Server. My characters change too much between visits to the test server so when there's something new to check out I copy a "new" character over. That way I have the most current version to test.

    The problem I'm having is on the live servers where my C-Store purchase wasn't applied to all the Feddie characters on my account.

    Go to the C-store,

    either on the special unlocks or the ship button is a "value bundle: enterprise"

    try that one it worked for me.

    The special unlock for the ship itself isn't showing up on my C-store list of items and the Value bundle: Enterprise says I have to pay another 1215 points. I am not spending another $18.75 to get something I already paid for.

    I sent in a petition and I'm waiting until Monday to see if I get anything more than an automated response. Oh and here's a pic of what I am seeing.

    Pic to left is the character with the ship and the pic on the upper right is the C-store window on another character on the same account


    I don't expect Support to work weekends. :D

    Look under Ships rather then under Special Unlock and you should see the NX listed there by itself rather then part of the bundle with the standard Claim button.

    These are the only ships that are showing under Ships in my C-Store window.

    And as you can see it's not there.

    You surely have a bug then. Mine clearly shows up as available to be claimed under the Ships category. I hope you get it resolved soon.
