There seems to be a pretty obvious double standard in this thread, and the comment above is yet another example of it. The people who get their undies in a wad because of minor grammatical mistakes keep saying "overlook the OP's tone and focus on what he's trying to say". However, if they were willing to actually take their own advice in regards to the subject at hand and overlook the minor grammatical mistakes in a mission and "focus on what the author is trying to say" we wouldnt be having this discussion in the first place :rolleyes:

This is also something that I probably should have clarified earlier in this thread. When I review content on the Tribble, I don't spat off flaming or hateful reviews based on grammatical errors or typos. I (believe it or not) do have the ability to look beyond those things and see the big picture. The reason I brought this up in the first place was because I had come across so many good stories, but was plagued with having to read them six times in order to understand what the author was trying to say in the dialog. If the story is good and the mission works, it'll get high marks. Typos and grammar errors don't automatically mean I only give the content a one star rating. Those errors are addressed in written review of the content, but it's not done negatively. Below is a copy/paste transcript of a review I wrote just last night.
MISSION: Starbase 39 Under Attack
AUTHOR: Lord_Bane
RATING: I gave five stars
REVIEW: Excellent work with quality content. Great beginning to a story arc. Some grammar/spelling issues to fix before they go live, but other than that it's a pretty solid build.
Again, the mission had some typos and grammar errors (heck, so does my mission (and they were pointed out to me positively in a review as well)), but it didn't detract at all from the way the mission is played. The mission was fun, and was really well done.
The moral of the story is this: I'm not, and never was, out to get you if your mission has spelling/grammar errors. Correct spelling/grammar help the mission flow together much more smoothly than if it were full of errors (that force people like me to re-read the text a few times to make it sound right in our heads).

Feel free to review my content, and point out specific errors that you find. I was my only proof reader, so there are bound to be mistakes. Let me know where they are so that I can fix them before I send it over to Holodeck (once it's live). I'd be more than willing to accept all your comments and reviews, though flamers need not apply. Known errors:
-Foundry does not allow for colons in the title, so the full title of the mission ("Rihannsu: Part One - The Iceberg") is inherently grammatically incorrect.
-Mission start prompt displays inaccurate dialog from Captain Prost. It will say that you've arrived at Starbase One, even if you have not.
-Grammar error in popup screen involving the Romulan security net. (Should read as "disabled" instead of "disable")
-Romullan units do not patrol. I'm working on it....
