Galaxy-X Question

If you purchase the Galaxy-X is it available only on one character or is it available account wide? I have a Rear Admiral who can purchase the ship, but I really want to use it on another, lower character who cannot purchase it yet. So, would buying it on the one unlock it for the other, or would I just be wasting my points?

    It's an account wide unlock.

    even if its an account wide unlock you would be wasting ur points, as you will also need to have the correct rank to claim it. No chance to get the galaxy for a commander rank for example. You should be able to claim it account-wide with all characters that have the level of RA or higher.

    True, I should of mentioned that also. The cash shop description mentions that you have to be a rear admiral, but it is somewhat ambiguous.
