C-Store Broken ?

I seem to be unable to purchase from the c-store via the game.

" Unable to complete transaction : that item canno't currently be purchased "

Anyone else having trouble?

    Happening to me with the Excelsior Refit.

    Figured it out, you need space in your Free Ship Slots in order to acquire the new ship's.

    Or you can just buy more ship slots. :)

    I'm getting this exact same problem on one of my characters on everything I try to get or claim, but my others can use the C-Store just fine. Unfortunately, none of my other characters are Vice Admirals, so I can't get the Intrepid retrofit I want. What's going on here?

    I tried to buy the 23rd-century Constitution and the Intrepid retrofit on my Vice Admiral, but I repeatedly got the error Unable to complete transaction: that item cannot currently be purchased. I switched over to a Lieutenant character and was able to purchase and claim the Constitution, but when I went back to my Vice Admiral, I got the error again. I'm also unable to get the Intrepid because it's a restricted purchase to anyone who isn't level 51.

    I don't know if this is the case, but as was said above, if you VA has all of his ship slots filled with other ships the game won't let you choose another ship from the c-store. You need to delete one of the older ships from your ship inventory to make room for new choices; or you need to buy more ship slots for the character on the c-store.
