Sure we have people begging for the Nebula and we pretty much have every other canon class but where is the Revan Class? For those of you who don't know what the Revan Class is here is a picture.
Where the hell is that monstrosity from? I don't recall the design. It looks like someone mated a runabout with a Klingon ship.
It's from 2 Voyager episodes: Dark Frontier and The Raven, and was also seen in Enterprise: Future tense in the database. The ship had 5 decks so it's much bigger then a Danube.

Ah. I see. No wonder I don't remember it, then. I blocked most of those two series out of my mind.
Isnt the Raven sorta a Runabout meets the family camper/rv style of ship anyways?
Actually it's much larger. A runabout is about 23m in length, the Raven is 90m and it has a shuttle bay. I would like to see it as a starter ship it would be a nice alternative to the tired Miranda/Centaur.
The Raven was a civilian survey ship. At least the Hansen's weren't members of Starfleet, anyway. If I recall correctly, Starfleet in fact knew what they were looking for and didn't approve. You'd think, if it were a Starfleet ship, they'd have denied them use of it at that point.
It'd be good for a larf as an NPC ship you need to rescue, a background NPC vessel for social systems and Sol, or a token player ship like the runabout. It seems like an easy enough design to reproduce. But for Starfleet to use it in a fight? Canon can't even confirm it had as much as a single phaser on it. I'm inclined to be on the side that says that's because it probably didn't.
We have seen the Oberth in both civilian (SS) and Fed (USS) hands. I can imagine the Raven doing the same. Either as a low-tier Science ship or a low-tier escort. Given that the Raven shadowed the Borg for some time and remained undetected while they conducted observations, it seems sciency to me. It could be a science ship alternative to the Miranda beginner ship for the Feds.

That was good, i would have to agree though it would be perhaps a nice starter ship perhaps?
I would and could entertain that idea.

I thought the name sounded familiar, though.
If I were to guess I'd say there's more Voyager stuff in STO then from any other series.
