I don't think we need to have all those melee weapons (especially not a dozen different daggers!), but the D'k tahg is certainly a must. I'd also like a Gin'tak spear. The Knife of Kirom was a unique artefact, so that should be left out for sure.

More importantly, the melee weapons need to show on our characters. I was very disappointed that, after some early patch, drawn Bat'leths would suddenly disappear into thin air after combat! Why the change?

The K'vort would be an excellent way to recycle the B'rel model for a T5-"Refit"-BoP.

As for clothes, I think we need a proper vest that shows some skin - both for male as well as for female characters. See this image and this one. It's pretty close to the top options we already have, the developers just need to get rid of the arms and make room for some cleavage (yes, in the male version too).

Also, this for female Klingons - both the breastplate as well as the skirt. Klingon female cleavage is so iconic it already has its own t-shirts, so I am at a loss as to why it isn't in STO. Especially considering the new Orion options or that the Federation now has a cleavage leather jacket in the polls.

    Oh, and I almost forgot:

Change the current "ship is under attack" voiceover to something more Klingon. The current voice sounds like Borg. >_<
True awesomeness would be to get Michael Dorn to speak a couple lines for STO - he did a lot of voice roles for different games recently, including Fallout, StarCraft II and Mass Effect 2. I would nerdgasm so hard if Cryptic should get him. I'm sure every Klingon player would attack every ship in range only to hear his voice. :D

Updated... I included all of the possible melee weapons, personally I only want to see the D'k tahg and the Mek'leth, though it would be nice to have the Nausicaan sword for Nausicaan characters too.

In regards to showing the melee weapons on the characters, this can be done in CO in the "back" options for the costumes. Maybe this can be done for Klingons?

Do you mean sheathed melee weapons? This would be cool, of course - but I am more referring to a mechanic that was already in the game. You keep your ranged weapons (disruptors, phasers, ...) in your hands when you draw them. There even is a little button for this in the UI. But it doesn't work with melee weapons. It used to. I'm not sure why they changed this, but I'd really like to have this back.

    Also: :D @ video

Ah I see what you mean, yeah I'm not sure why they took it out for melee, but sheathed melee weapons was what I meant.

    Some more stuff:

Another image of the cleavage breastplate. More detail this time - and it looks like this is a solid plate rather than a vest. Interestingly, it can also be combined with the classical vest, as seen here.

Also, here is an example for Klingon female Off-Duty clothing to go with the stuff suggested in the "Kor, Koloth and Kang" image. NOTE: Your link there does not work for other people!

And something that every Klingon should have: the nigh-omnipresent Klingon holster. Seriously, everyone wears it. I'm just not sure how it could be incorporated into STO - as a sash option maybe?

Updated. The holster might work on a sash or even on a belt. CO has a few belt options with holsters. The D'K tahg hanging from a belt might be nice too.

Ideally, the holster could be a sash option and the D'K'tahg a belt option, so that you can combine them. On the other hand, if you have the holster as a belt option, you can wear other sashes... :D

Oh, and This website has pictures of two Klingon tricorders. Maybe we won't have to use these sto-..., err, I mean salvaged Federation models for eternity. The second model actually looks pretty close to what we currently have in the game; if the devs would just slap a rusty red/brown color on the Fed tricorder, it'd already look much better.

By the way, I've re-uploaded your Kang/Kor/Koloth-pic on imageshack. Es-Astris-Scientia doesn't allow hotlinking. Here's the new url: http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/2212/korkolothkang.jpg

Awesome catch on the Tricorders! Updated.

On the Holster options. CO actually has a belt with a holster on one side and a knife on the other side. Of course like most games it assumes everyone is right handed, which is a bit annoying since I shoot left.

I really liked the Qua'plah! before the Season two patch. But, I do agree that having Michael Dorn voice over would make many people "nerdgasim". ;P

Perhapse a way should be put in for players to choose which of the three voices the player hears.

In regards to the Admiral/Vet Jacket reward, do you want to see on of the ones from the game specifically or do you want a brand new design?

Ah ok, this is something I'm asking them about in general, I've asked in the new "Ask Cryptic" thread if they are going to go back and review the BO and stats of older ships since the launching of many of the new refits have made some of them obsolete. I am concerned that this will be further exasperated by the new KDF ships coming in sometime in the next few months.

Which Admiral Jacket are we talking about, precisely?

I think the coat worn by General Korrd in ST:V would be perfect for this. I think it's the same one that was also worn by Martok and Gowron during their time as Chancellors.

The so-called Swordsmaster vest is actually a standard Klingon officer coat that has been worn by many influential Klingon commanders in the movies as well as the series. Including this scene from TNG where it is worn by Worf in an attempt to fool a group of Klingons. Hence I think it should be called "KDF Officer Coat" or something like that in the clothing customization menu.
Of course, it should also be a bit longer than what the Swordsmaster-NPCs wear - if that is possibly with the engine.

Whilst browsing, I also stumbled upon this, the jacket worn by the Klingon Ambassador. I think it would actually look better than the rather "human-style" suit worn by Worf on For'cas III whilst having a somewhat similar look.

By the way, some of the images in the list are double, like the "cleavage" pictures - they're not really different from each other, I have just linked several shots to provide better detail and different angles. Sorry for the confusion. The "B'Elanna outfit" should actually be the "option 2" for the "cleavage" breastplate, as it is basically the same thing - just with a padded undergarment.
I think we can just call both tops "Klingon Female Breastplate" - it merely has two variants: one with cleavage (a la Duras sisters) and one without (a la B'Elanna).

Oh, and here's another one I've found. Do you remember this warrioress? The "gift" from Q-Riker to Worf? [Video]
Might also be an idea for off-duty clothing. :D

This is a good question. I've only seen that we are getting a "vet reward" jacket, nothing about a Admiral uniform as well. Personally I'd like both.

I love the General Korrd overcoat! That would be fantastic!

Well according to this Lizards do have sexes, though they do not need to have sexual reproduction for the existence of "sexes".

Sureyerright! It would be nice to have a Captain be a "Targ Handler" like the NPC.

And/or couldn't we get a BO with this ability?

I'd like to be able to get different Klingon hair. The dreadlocks we have now are... disappointing. Pretty much the only cool do (IMHO) is the Top Knot (which really is a bald pony tail...). What about Warf's or B'Elanna's hair? Or not dread, but long wavy hair as worn by the Duras Sisters?

Also, I'd like the various Kling clothes sharable between all the KDF. For example, why can't any KDF female wear the Orion outfits?

And can we get some more colors in the Tailor? I know Klings are a dour/serious race, but why must I stick to the same muted pallet for an Orion or an Alien KDF?

These are just some suggestions off the top of my head....
