Really, they do? I am not seeing it. "Oh, yes, you added 8 Klingon storyline episodes. How quaint. Neat little uniforms you got there for the KDF. But seriously, when will you really start to do something for the Klingon Faction?"
Meh.
To be perfectly honest, the Nausicaan armor is one of the key additions they made that got me to level my KDF character.
I will give credit where credit is due.
I still think the devs forgot Letheans exist though.
and more ship customization option.
That would be nice too. And I'm all for more story arc content. On both sides of the game. I have a feeling we're going to be told that Weeklies are it from now on. Those are a huge resource drain and to keep that schedule I doubt they have the manpower to also put out other missions. So new faction specific content would have to come during a break in the weekly schedule.
This is having a negative impact on the fed side as well. Fluidic sector still has no DSE's in it. And there's only 4 new story arc missions added to the new level cap. Because weeklies took over.
Weeklies are awesome. I love them. They're great. So I'm not knocking them. But it does seem they took up all the people that are required to make new story arcs.
Territory Control and all that is neat, but I have the feeling that a lot of Startrek players like to play the kind of stories we saw in the series, so we need episodes to get them hooked on Klingons.
Yes they do like those stories, but those players are gone and not coming back; in fact they left before the game was launched when the faction was declared to be PvP centric.
So they have the option to cater to what's left, or try to get the lost people by which in turn runs the risk of alienating who you still have.
I really think that the best choice at this point is a solid open pvp system, but from the number of posts here the feedback forums could use some more attention from the game's developers....

I love the weeklies, and I can't really see them as a "cut" in story arcs. The Deferi missions clearly have a story arc. They actually have different dialogues for Klingons and Feds, so they are not 100 % generic from the immersion point of view. So I can live with them focusing on that for a while.
If they can actually keep up a schedule fo 3 episodes or so per month (There will be a pause between seasons, so I think that's about the number they actually can do), that would be neat.
Imagine they would do, say, 3 series with 5 missions each, and then take a "break" for 2 months to create another 4 faction-specific missions of slightly longer length and complexity.
What I would like them to do is to create a few storyline missions on both sides that can also be played at any level. The Klingon storyline episodes suffer a little from the fact that they distributed across all tiers.

I don't think they left. I think they are just playing their Feds.
Objective based Faction and/or House warfare for territory control and Faction perks. Complete with Sector Space and Objective System interactions/engagements.
1) This means using the current Deferi Patrol instances to create dynamic convoy interdiction of NPC Fed logistic vessels for the KDF and Escort/Distress Call response for Fed players to try and save the day.
2) Non-tactical(passive PvP?) missions for recon of oppossing player ship movements, using the cloak or MES in Sector Space and in open instances of objective systems. The key feature here is that combat is not required to succesfully complete the goal; ex: Detect five Fed Player ships in System X or along a space lane A212 in the Blah-Blah Sector, etc
We also need the means to initiate an attack from cloak in Sector space before both partied are dragged into a combat instance. The cloak is useless if it loses its ambush feature. Initaiting the loading into an instance before the initial pre-emptive strike is made totally removes the ambush feature. Bear in mind, everyone should be able to have the same feature for attacks on cloaked vessels that have been detected and are within attack range. Two opposing uncloaked should not have the option for a pre-emptive Sector Space attack, but instead, will both be loaded into the instance to initiate the engagement. Lastly for Sector engagments, the rough orientation and relative positions of the engagement inititation should be maintained when loaded into the combat instance.
1.ships more of them & they must be equal to the federation counter parts.
2. open pvp with a teritoral control.
as for the weekly episodes the two so far have been good
Still waiting on my efficent impulse engines ( got the shaft cause i did the missions b4 they added the rewards)
A change in empire defense missions to make them like random space encounters, with shared instances so you can meet up with other people you're not already teamed with would be nice.
A variation on the House ideas, make them all individual. A multi-rank storyline that tracks your progression through the empire, culiminating with the formation of your own individual house. Cause I don't really want to join the house of Martok, or Duras, I want to form the House of Me.
A variation on the Champions nemesis system would be nice too. Create a Klingon nemesis of your own, for Martok there is Duras, etc.
Here's my list and in the order I think would do the Faction the most good.
1) More ship options from Lieutenant to Lieutenant General (From other posts this is in the works)
2) Space to patrol, add a few sector blocks for the Klingon's and start with general Patrol missions even if they are re-rite's of federation patrol missions. This would give a foundation for episodic missions in the new areas.
3) Deep space encounters as the Federation has. The roaming enemies that attack you at usually the most inopportune time. nix the Defense against the X zones. this of course goes hand in hand with the adding space above.
4) Episodic Missions. The 8 we received in Season 2 were great and I know took a lot of resources and time to make which is why this is at the end of the list. I'd love to see more of these but they take more time and resources than the above will.
5) Space control PvP. Picture this, The Klingon's invade and Capture DS9. Forcing the feds to PvP to regain it and open the Captain/RA missions. This could be done in many sectors giving the feel that the war really was raging out there.
I know we on the Klingon side would love all of these things, it would breathe life back into the faction which is hanging on by the end of our fingernails. I know the dev's can do all of this (#4 and #5 may require some major work ) but the rest should be fairly easy to attain. I'll admit #5 would cause quite a bit of hatred by the Fed side but think of the Glorious battles it would provoke. If the feds couldn't run their episodic/patrol missions in a given sector because we Klingon's controlled the area they would have to engage in PvP to wrest control back to do them. I don't propose this for all areas just the border areas which should include DS 9 area. Additionally when or if the Romulan's are added the border zones for fed/rom and Klingon/Rom could be done the same way. This wouldn't "force" pvp but would make it worth if for the fed side
Frankly, I would just like some more meaningful pve content so I could stop having to kill feds to advance my characters.
Are you getting soft Roach? what's wrong with killing feds?
Seriously though, my choice would be new ships........ to kill feds with.
also more places to do it in, any chance of new pvp maps in the future?

Nope, momentary lack of lucidity. I got a enough smack talk in pvp to re-affirm my desire to see fed explosions, but by Kahless's ******** it does drag on after a while. Of course thats the pnuemonia talking, being always puts me in shut-down mode.
Is it really all that wrong that Roach finds the Glentika and the Breen more challenging foes than the federation?
Thanks for the uplift Superchum, but there are plenty of feds who give a good fight in pvp, went 14/11 k/d ratio in a match today infact and lost due to teamwork breaking down (new build test and lost focus), the Glentika and Breen are just more consistent in thier use of combo's. In fact I find it very refreshing that the NPC's can sneak the ol' BO+tric combo by me from time to time.

But please back to topic.
I thought there was post about a Gorn insurrection as starting story arc for Klingons given by aplayers. Does somebody has a link perhaps?
I do not have a link, but I have also seen players leave...mostly the players I see that leave are KDF that defect to the fed side...
Second would be open-pvp zones.
Do quests not just for honor, but for a house faction.
That, and the ability to upgrade your carrier ships (equip/abilities).
Well, we need some of this UGC in for season 3...perhaps it won't happen though....
Roper was/is an idiot in my personal opinion- others may disagree.
Frankly, I would just like some more meaningful pve content so I could stop having to kill feds to advance my characters.
I won't disagree with you on either point you're making.

Followed closely by a "real" Carrier for the KDF

Although i ran into section 31 in a C&H today, they are good. Real good.
