Alright So I bought two packs of 2 bridge officer slots for my main character which I am on 99% of the time. I was able to add two more officers into my crew upping the number to 12 and allowing me to use the larger bridges without any generic NPC's (Well except for the bug that is making my borg BO show up as a generic... but thats a whole different issue).
Anyway when I tried to add my 13th officer it was not added. I have tried many times now from many officers in my pending list, none are being added. There is no error message, the officers are simply not added and the message box is closed.
I have filed a bug report but was wondering if anyone else was able to add a 13th officer without any problems.
My pessimistic guess is that they never thought someone would buy two packs for the same character, so they never bothered to work it out. Rushed? Sounds like it to me and I wouldn't be surprised.
QA has verified this and we're working on getting a fix out to you on this as soon as possible.
Thank you again for pointing this out.

Holy moly, you have a QA team? Sounds pretty dubious since it only took 12 hours for an embarrassingly obvious and fundamental flaw to be discovered and disseminated to the community.
It doesn't take a QA team to find a bug like this. It doesn't even take one tester. All it takes is one monkey pressing the "BUY" button twice in a row.
If this mythical "QA" does exist, maybe you should use them before you release software instead of after?
Disappointing? yes.
Sad? yes.
Surprising? Not so much
I wouldn't be suprised if they were left out of the loop. It seems the C-Store and QA teams have fairly poor communications between each other.
I can think of countless times I (as part of a QA team) was blamed for an issue that was brought to a higher-up's attention before going live, or was given a green-light before we even *knew* about it.
I doubt they knew about it, as a very simple UI and purchase verification pass would've found a bug as simple and basic as this.
Either that or Cryptic really is reducing the number of QA personnel since they have us - the end users - to test and bug issues. Doesn't seem to stop us from buying more C-Store stuff anyways...

i made a bug report too
i want that it works
or that your only able to buy it one time
and give us the C-Store Points back
for me 1200
... wait, the sensible thing would be to add the BO slots by ranking up rather than selling them in the store.
I would like to know which bean counter had the "genius" idea to sell the BOff slots. And to add to the insult on a per character basis.
You do actually gain BO slots as you rank up...
They mean after Rear Admiral I think, which currently doesn't happen.
I agree that 400 points for 2 BO slots on ONE character is outrageous. Should be across all characters.
Stormshade, is this in discussion too?

They removed it to make it account wide.
most definitely ... or even leave as is but reduce the price to roundabout 100-200 crypt points...
Has it is now im not paying for it!!!!!!
how long till a solution for this is Patched in Game ?
some Day in next Week or with the rest of 2.0 Patch ? at end of month ?
are the more Ship Slots Working ? how many i could buy ?...
Ship slots do work, its 2 per purchase, but only on one character. No clue on max limit.

Hi Stormshade, any updates on this?
And did on Tribble with the last final RC 2.0, too.
