How about we put a little rule on c-store merchandise. When I buy anything like a new ship, ship skin, bridge, uniform, pet, slots, etc. That it applies to my account, not my character. Don't sell us anything non-consumable that isn't account wide.
I buy an excelsior, I want that option for all my captains. I get more slots, all my captains. I buy a respec token that gets used up, 1 token it is. But if its not consumable, account wide. I think that would by pass a lot of the grumbling that you have just started for yourself.
Can I get an assent to this from Cryptic, and an Amen from the crowd please

Right now it's "In God we Trust, all others fork over the C-Points"
Amen...
Now about the ship slots and officer slots....
What's this forum for, if we can't discuss C-store policies without our threads getting closed?
/ amen!.........
Agreed. No one seems as thrilled about the costume slots as they do the BO slots. The BO slots come in handy for those of us with the Borg BO and Holographic BO that were acquired after our ten-BO limit.
Saith
i will NEVER buy anything bound to only one character!
What if i delete this char? then i delete my money? noooot going to happen.
*Crickets* *Crickets* *Crickets*
but this silence still makes me sad.
It's very disappointing really.
And By Q's socks I will not purchase anything for a single character, I need more ship slots so I can buy more ships from the blasted c-store-but not for a single character.
That said, I find the concept of per character sales troubling. I would never but anything that wasn't account wide, I don't buy renames or respects or anything consumable already, because I'm cheap. The very idea of non account wide sales could be what brings any support for the c-store to a halt. I feel the only way to stop this from happening is voting with our wallets and boycotting any non consumable item that isn't account wide. A few people raging on the forums won't work to get the attention of the marketing department on this. I say we need a way to organize a concerted effort to boycott these types of items and let cryptic know we are doing it along with how many supporters are involved. All the nerd rage in the world won't get a marketing department to change policy, but loss of projected revenue will.
