Does anyone know if there are videos showing a walkthrough of the bridges available on the C-Store. I'd like to preview them before buying.

Hey Ivan! This would be a great thing for you and your "professional marketing team" to put together. Put videos showing off all the cool things available on the C-store. Put them on startrekonline.com, youtube, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter. Let the gaming websites have them. Get the game out there visually. Let people really see all the cool stuff it has.

The best thing about something like that would be the fact that nobody would be upset over it. :D

This is a great idea. I bought the... I forget the name of the pack... JJ bridges and had I been able to see that the scale was so awful I would have bought another pack. I don't use them at all, wasted my money.

What are you talking about? The scale is awful? My friend, the scale is awful for all the interior spaces. Their engine's camera sucks, so rather than fixing it, they keep the scale huge.

Another thing is that unlike every other MMO out there, they decided to turn collision on for all characters. So rather than leaving it off and staying accurate with their interior environment scaling, they design interiors around the notion of giving everyone plenty of room to move around in... Not that it really matters because if they allowed enough players in an instance to constitute a crowd, the game lags to the point of unplayability.

I hate their scaling. It looks stupid. But they won't do anything about it, so no matter how much any of us complain about it, we're stuck with it.

In a perfect world :p There would be seperate vids for seperate bridge packs. Each bridge would have a character walk through the bridge at a steady pace, even going into the dead end corridors to show how far it goes.

    Excellent work Z3R0B4NG!
You gave us a very good walk around and I like that you clearly labeled the bridges.

My sister -in-law fought a Madison County Bridge and lost. Destroyed her car and she was in the hospital for several months. On the upside as a result they found the lung cancer before it spread, so I guess in a way she was lucky. Whne we visited her in the hospital we brought a "Bridges of Madison County" T-shirt.

Wow. Thanks for sharing. I mean this in a nice, and serious way ... that's got the makings of a screenplay itself. Kind of a Julie & Julia, except with a Bridges of Madison County T-Shirt.

strange... i dont realy like the Emissary Pack.
It is way to big compared to anything in Trek, the 100 LCARS screens arround it almost all show the same texture, and when you sit in the captains chair the viewscreen is so far away that it is only a tiny small window, if Bridge Combat will EVER makes it into the game this is the one Bridge that they realy have to change up.
Also the Char Shadows on that Bridge are realy realy bad and pixelated.

The Miranda Pack is on the bottom, it claims it is designed after the Miranda Class but when you compare it to google pictures it has nothing to do with it.
The layout is strangely uneven and the Consoles in the first 2 variants are just ugly (the consoles in the 3rd variant look good though), the Viewscreen looks boring.
This is the only one where i would say DONT buy.
But well i just show you the vid's you can decide yourself ;)

The Destiny and Prometheus Packs are must haves as i see it.
The Destiny may be a little too big and they should fix the LCARS screens in the back (they had it right on Tribble once, then the update was made for Holodeck, screwed everything up and they made a Hotfix and now it looks like it does... just sayin, that LCARS stuff might change)

I'll see if i can get the rest of the Klingon Bridge Packs on tape today, then i will make a shiny new Thread with it for my signature ;)

That is very, very helpful. Thank you :)!

I was a little surprised the view screen is entirely flat rather than having depth to it (I thought it would be more like a window or holographic).

Can the Promethus pack be used for cruisers, or is it just for science ships? It looks pretty close to the Star Trek 6 Bridge, which was my favorite.
