Cryptic please have leave the recruiters at least one item not everybody can have

Don't put the holo bridge officer on the cstore it's easy enough to get you only need 1 recruit to obtain it

    I agree with this. I still feel that the Galaxy-X should stay as a referral ship, they can give something like it in game if you work hard for it. Since that's not gonna happen, doing what you said could be acceptable.

    Get used to it: EVERYTHING will hit the c-store sooner or later. Even if their CEO tells you today, that your BO stays exclusive, it will not.

    This game is about everybody gets everything if you cry long enough for it.

    Peole who recruit for rewards are doing it for the wrong reason anyway, so I dont really see why they should be rewarded. If you enjoy this game, then tell your friends about it. If you dont, then dont. Its just that simple, and no different than any other product in real life.

    It should not be considered being "rewarded."

    Better to think of it as being "compensated."

    That term is even worse, because it implies you have been "damaged" by referring a person to try a product you enjoy. If you not sure what I mean, "compsensation" is a legal term, and it is what is given to a person who has suffered "damage" from a person or product.

    Put the holographic bridge officer in the C-Store, why should it be exclusive and the Borg bridge officer not!

    Well... You will keep the title... Im pretty sure that won't hit the C-Store.

    Trolling aside, While I Happen to agree with you that certain Items should remain Exclusive (somthing you can only aquire under unique circumstances), i think it is the sad fact that everything will indeed hit the C-Store at some point.

    No, you really havent. If you went and recruited 5 people, then you got the reward you were promised: the Gal-X. If you went and bought 5 copies of the game to make fake referrals then you actually abused the system by cheating, and you have only yourself to blame for that.

    People ask and they shall receive if the majority votes "yea". I'd say thats what happened with the preorder items. As long as the moajrity of people don't want the items in the C-Store, they shouldn't be there.

    OK:

    If a person wants the Galaxy X and didn't have 5 friends willing to buy it,

    they must spend $225 that Cryptic gets,

    or

    NOT spend $225 that Cryptic won't get and do without the ship.

    This would inconvenience both parties.

    As long as Cryptic got SOME money the program was not abused!

    Show me the disclaimer stating that someone can not just buy the ship this way.....

    Kind of like you soon will be doing with the C-Store!

    The damage I referred to does not have to do with money......

    I fyou like the game then get at least one other person to try it and sub for amonth and you can have the holotribble and the holo bridge officer you get the tribble even if they don't stay

    The "disclaimer" is the name of the program itself: Refer a Friend. And on the page where you send out referral codes, the place where you type in the email is called "friend's email", not "your alternate email". Furthre proof that Cryptic did not intend for people to refer themselves is their own statement:

    I'm not sure what point your trying to make or if your just stating the obvious. Either way, I dont care about any referral rewards in the first place because those are not my motivation for telling my friends about something I like, whether its this game or anything else.

    enough said, when you see people with the galaxy-x, and the holo bridge officer, you put on that, and everyone will know that you are legitimate. you worked for what you wanted, you did not go into your mothers purse and got her credit card. you earned your galaxy-x with your blood, sweat, and tears.

    I fully support this; those who completed the Referral program and got Crytpic their money should get an exclusive item that no one else can get without doing the referral program.

    If you were not able to convice anyone to join, I am sorry for that. However, if you cheated the system and now regret doing that, it is not Cryptic's fault only yours.

    That would be like the use of the words "Special" and "Exclusive" on Cryptic's part.

    They don't mean what they say either.

    funny because that was not an insult, unless it's to the people you were calling carebears. I was saying you have the master recruiter title, and that is something they can't get, and so those carebears who had to use their credit card to get the ship from the c-store will know that you earned it, but take anyway you want.

    oh and I was walking at the time of that posting, droid phones are awesome are they not.

    Well, yes and no.. I see your point, but from a business standpoint I'd still give them the Galaxy X because they dropped over $250 in real life dollars just to obtain it. I mean srsly if you're gonna spend THAT much real life money on it, then more power to you.

    I never said they shouldnt get the Gal-X. I'm simply saying that if they abused the system, they have no valid complaint about it coming to the C-store.

    I did not have five friends, I recruited THIRTEEN complete strangers:

    (1) I helped people configure their ships
    (2) I gave E-credits (nominal) to set up their ships
    (3) I gave advice, and helped with missions.

    Of these thirteen, I will soon know how many are staying with the game. Every one that stays with the game will be paying $15 per month for their subscription. And every one that stays with the game will add to the game IN THE VERY WAY THE MODERATORS SAY "THE REAL REWARD" EXISTS.

    All you did was buy someting, and that was your right. You now have the ship, and have been given $50 in cryptic points. I do ALSO note that you are NOT a Lifetime subscriber, so any game copies you bought for your own account gave $15 in game time for each copy, therefore any preorder bonus argument from you is moot anyway.

    You still have Five (5) accounts, which you can give away as presents. Buy a 60-day game card for each one, and you have the perfect Christmas gift. Since you only set these accounts up, own your own account, and didn't play them yourself, you should be on the "Good Side" of the grey area of the EULA/TOS agreements.

    With all this said..... with all courtesy... STOP WASTING BANDWIDTH.

    yes they are just a heads up thats still broken everything about this program has been screwed up from day one you can claim the title but it doesnt appear in your list of titles

    But yes. Thoose of us who have somthing that we kinda expected to be obtainable only throug one unique way, as it was emplied (they did that yes... Emplied that certain Items would only be obtainable for a small amount of people), are naturally dissapointed.

    While not all understand that, I think people should at least respect that.

    BTW: I don't own either the Mirror universe Uniform, or the Galaxy X. Go figure what "Unique" item I have.

    I did give them all away. I bought them for people who couldn't afford it.

    I never waste bandwidth. People flaming other people over the maner in which they accomplished the referral program goals is wasting bandwidth IMO.

    You might want to chill a bit, I've seen people get banned for less.

    You bought the game for five (5) people who could not afford the game
    You may or may not have paid for their subscription

    Therefore, you recruited five (5) people, received your compensation, and the compensation-bonus for the early release of the Galaxy-X.

    yea, guess what... they know that it is a bug, and it will be fixed. then you will have your title that no one else has.
