People are missing the larger issue with the galaxy x, here we are with a game with little content and nothing to do at ra 5. and what does cryptic do they take a iconic vessel and sell it for profit the same can be said for the ship skins. Why do we get no good loot in the game what so ever. Ive do 60 plus STFS and 300 valor which gets u worthless junk. My point is when are we going to get good in game items and what is keeping them from u can have a borg cube if u 1000 cp or get Q as a pet for 2000cp but were not going to actually offer u anything in game for the money u already pay.............
At least this OP has a more valid point than "I don't want the Galaxy X on the C-Store".
It's an interesting question... and I do agree. There should be more emphasis on in game rewards (you know, ones that actually promote PLAYING THE GAME) vs extras that you have to spend money on above and beyond the initial price of the game AND subscription fees. Sure the C-Store extras are really cool (I loaded up on them myself), but they're more of a novelty than anything else. It might encourage someone to play more for about a week or two, but once the "shiney new toy" looses it's luster the player is still left with the question "What do I do now?"
More in game challenges and rewards actually motivates the players to play more in order to attain them.
The C-store forum exists only to keep the people who absolutely hate what the C-store is and how it's managed from being seen by the majority of the forum readers.
...well that, and it give caitian whiners a place to cry for more things that only a small group want.

Yep, and no flames here either.
