Getting the feeling something odd is up with my CStore points...

Right, I had a few weird emails from Cryptic that I bought 50 points, one that said 120 points and another stating I bought 75 points. Ok, weird thing is that I only bought 500 points this month, nothing more nothing less. I figured those emails came in as part of the server lag until:

Last night I bought the Caitan race from the store. I had about 310ish points left so bought the Caitians for 200 points. Today I log on and I suddenly have... 505CP? I didn't buy a thing and I'm pretty sure my account is still safe from hackers and whatnot. The heck is going on here, is Cryptic TRIBBLE around with our purchases or something like that?

    Also odd because you can't buy such small amounts. Some kind of a bonus for something?

    Otherwise, sounds like a fairly serious bug, worth ticketing. (If points can wander in, they can wander out...)

    Aye exactly, it's pretty weird. I'll keep an eye on it the next few days.

    I just came to this part of the forums for something similar. Last time I'd checked I had 40 points left (240 for the survey -200 to unlock Caitians). Today I go to make a new alt and while grabbing all my pre-order/freebie goodies I notice I now have 440 points (400 mystery points). It was suggested that maybe a friend of mine who I referred had finally bought and subbed, but the referral page doesn't state that.

    Not a clue m8, all I know is that I gave someone a buddy key ages ago but he didn't buy nor sub to the game. Odd that Beady got a full 400 points for free also. Might be a script at Cryptic HQ going donkey again?

    The referral bonus was mentioned to me too elsewhere but as far as I know the guy I referred hasn't bought and subbed yet and probably won't be able to for another week at least. Gonna call him up soon and see if he just forgot to call, which is pretty unlikely knowing him.
