I would like to have a thypoon class but only if there are some other Hull/ Nacelle options than the existing ones.
I know the designer wanted it to have a more "Hot Rod" look, but i would prefer a more Traditional hull design, maybe similar to galaxy hull section but more massive.
And pleeeease dont make the Jupiter the new Admiral ship in Season 2. Btw. who designs something like this, has this person EVER watched any Star Trek show?
i mean new designs are good but keep it Starfleet like, if you want to do something totally different then please design ships for another race.
i think the Typhoon class is starfleet like, its just more made for the war because of its massive look, the other starfleet ships have to many weak points.
On another note, they should add more detail to the top part of the Typhoons suacer, now there is nothing there, just flat not even a bridge. Oh and one of those torpedo/shuttlebays seen on the underside of the Enterprise 2009 and Excelsior would be awesome, just my two cents.
hmmm i think there is a bridge you just cant see it, because its much more armored then any other Starfleet ship, and maybe the bridge are unter an thick plate
That actually doesn't look half bad. I hated Enterprise (the series, with Archer, etc. etc.) but the ship design was quite nice for your tier 1 patrol skiff. And it would make a nice escort design also.
I dont see why the ship could not be implemented, other then the fact that the ship is mirror universe side and not the federation. The are likely to be some ships in the alternate universe that our prime universe federations will not condone.
But I would think the game could use as many alternate ships as possible. Even if some players think they are ugly. That is ok. It just makes your ship looke that much cooler flying next to it.
Devs should think about moving the nacelles back a bit, the pylons seem to be attached to the middle of the nacelles, kinda weird. Also add more glow to them, theres only a small streak of blue, most ships have much more.

I agree with OP, the Majestic ship we get IS FAR UGLIER than the one the NPC's have. They both have the same saucer, but other than that, they're completley diff.
The NPC majestic almost looks like a huge intrepid class ship, but with raise nacelles and pylons, but i like that
I like the Typhoon, but if you look at it, it's just a modified Majestic saucer with an Intrepid neck and a Celestial (?) hull and Cerberus nacelles. But I like the overall look with the big deflector and paired nacelles, it fits in well with the assault cruisers. Makes me wonder if it was made as a competitor with Jupiter for Dreadnought. Jupiter is pieced together too, but much more ugly. It's a Discovery saucer with an upside-down Gryphon hull and Olympic nacelles.

When you think about it, it being a kitbash is in keeping with Trek tradition. Need a new ship, but lack the funds to build a whole new model!? Kitbash! That's how the Centaur, Miranda, Cheyenne, Nebula, and New Orleans classes were all born. The Typhoon is simply the latest in long tradition of hit-or-miss ships to fill a need they don't have enough money to fill with something brand new.
And for the record, I find it to be hideous. But I won't try and stop you from getting it, that'd be mean.
My USS Titanic is the safest ship in the fleet. It has 5 escape pods and is designed to withstand severe impacts with Iceteroids so that at most 75% of the ship will be sacrificed. We won't repeat history's mistakes again!

I like the Typhoon as well, but this "petition" is not meaningful in any way. It is more like crying for sweets you want now, not later.

Kinda beat ya to the line. I got a Star Cruiser named Titanic, NCC-131428. Needless to say, the ship don't last long in a fight.
Anyway, the Typhoons are amazin'. I'd take one of 'em over my modified Soveregin anyday

Yeah thats the carrier from ST: Invasion. never played it though. Sure looks better than the Jupiter now lol
