lol. Galaxy X is obtainable in the game, though. You just have to convince five other suc... I mean, people... to buy the game, then subscribe to it.
Argument's invalid, lol
That is how some have done it...most likely purchased 5 boxes then payed for 5 one month subs {in some way, shape, or form}. Not unlike those that purchased several options to get all the "exclusives" that are now available in the C-Store. If we learned anything in the past couple of days we can expect to see the Galaxy X in the C-Store in the near future.
However, "suckers" indeed...I lose respect for this staff more and more each day. Glad to know nothing in this game has any meaning....and trivialization/diffusion is the rule of the day.

And I am going to laugh so freaking hard when that day comes, and a dozen posts go up in the space of 5 seconds screaming bloody murder about how they wasted $400 for something that got put up on C-Store for maybe $25.
Heck, I bet we even get a screamer post from one of them that'll turn out to be the aforementioned 5 copies of the game for exclusives, and just had to shell out $75 for the subscriptions on top of what he already paid for the exclusives.
Stormshade's response in another thread indicated the majority wanted it on the C-store. By that logic, as soon as the majority wants it available in game they will get their wish.

Aye...lol. What is even more funny is that those that shelled out for all the "box sets" initially to get all the "exclusives" were the ones most likely {at least probability dictates this to be so} to also be the same people that essentially purchased their Gal. X via the 5 x 5 method lol.
To be fair all I ever bought was the Pre-order/Atari DDE...and would be lying if I said it had nothing to do with the "exclusives" that came with that package. Anyone that knows me personally or in the game knows I have no ego...or subscribes to childish games of comparing and contrasting {"keeping up with the Jones' "}, but I do feel cheated to a degree....and totally sympathize with those whom were against the money grab by Cryptic.
Not a big deal really...but I did have some moron in game ask me why I just bought a joined Trill...even though clearly I was lvl 45 and could not have done that in 2 days. Moves like this trivialize and diffuse everyone and everything. Anyways no biggy....what is good for the goose is good for the gander. And like many others have said I will never again trust anything Cryptic says...and I will never again invest in any future projects they release.
I expected this...and yes we were "warned"...but no one expected it so soon. Well I am just a lowly 1-month recurring subscriber...so I can vote with my feet anytime. God knows the reasons for doing so are mounting.
I have been working to get the gal X. Only have two more to go. If I do get it and then they put it on the c-store. I won't be mad. Oh I am sure someone will blow a gasket over it but it won't be me.

Aye I saw his insincere comments. Indeed...ask and you shall receive. Wish things worked like this in the real world lol.
C-Store items are fine but why is there very little that can be earned in game. I mean throw us very rare ships or some unique BO's every once in a while.

I believe so, but I am talking about awards all through the game. People would have way more passion and excitement for the game if they could pursue in-game enhancements. As it is now we all just grind for purples.

Nah...if it requires 4 other players, playing politics, or kissing TRIBBLE to accomplish then forget it. Or all that....and only 1 out of 5 players get the reward, forget it...that was the lamest thing about the STFs. I am however, for some interesting rewards in the game...but they need to start releasing new content that can be enjoyed without a team {or with a team if desired}.
I take no issue with the STFs {save how easy it is for 1 person to sabotage everyone else for numerous reasons}, but we need more than raid after raid for content. I sincerely hope they add more story type missions....and some specific Klingon content {not lame Raids that are clearly Fed centric}...Like pure KDF player would even know who Ja'rod is...or understand the irony of how this guy tries to kill you several times, but had he succeeded you would not be there to save him from Armek in "The Cure."
I hear what you're saying, and agree, but I am not really fixated on the STFs. I mean in game rewards for all kinds of things. If I save the Vulcan ambassador then why cant I get a unique BO or a cool unique Vulcan weapon. Why cant I get a free bridge pack when I hit Admiral as a reward from SF for my service (pick your bridge). Just work some of these things into the game instead of having and empty game and a full C-Store.
P.S. I could buy the entire C-Store for what I spend at Star Bucks in a week, but I know many people cant and that bums me out. I am not cheap, I just think an expanded reward system is better for the game.
