security escort bugged

i have on multiple occasions seen my security escort detail beam out in the middle of combat even though the skill description clearly states that this wont happen.

"Security Escort beams down a pair of security officers to guard you or a selected ally. they remain until the group is out of combat or until defeated"

just thought i would bring this better into the light so that it wouldn't just get filed away into the "Library of Congress"™ of bug reports

if any devs have a chance to look at that. i would be most grateful :)

    What level or rank do you need for this ability, is it a Tac or Eng thing?

    I hope this bug gets fixed for the next patch. It is bad enough a lot of time the reset for the TI does not work and when they beam down and vanish within five seconds or vanish during firing it is really irksome! I for one thing they should stay until they are killed or dismissed by the player.
