Targ for Feds and Tribble for KDF

I saw the new items, pet Targ and Riv Tribble on the C-Store this morning.

However, the factional limiting of these items is disappointing.

Although I didn't know it at the time, by creating a custom alien on KDF side enabled me to use Tribbles on that character.

And another player mentioned how they'd like to have a pet Targ on their fed.

So why limit these items by faction?

    Obviously, the Federation is ill-prepared for the nigh savage and primal adorableness of the Targ Pup!

    And on the other hand Klingons hunt down Tribbles. Why should they now adopt them as pets?

    People eat dogs in asia, and yet we have them as pets in europe ? :o
