Does anyone know if the C-Store Borg Bridge Officer and the Tribble are a single purchase across an account? Or do they need to be bought for each character that wants them?
The description doesn't say, but all of the previous C-Store purchase items are across the account and is not bound to specific character... The original Amazon 'Borg BO' was across the account. (According to the latest Release Notes, only the Galaxy-X is character specifc bound)
Of note: the 'Tribble' that is displayed looks nothing like the Target 'Rivera' tribble. Is this a 'new' Tribble species???
I wouldn't mind picking up Borgarella, but holding off until there's some confirmation that it's account-wide and not just character based.
The Tribble looks like the Rivera one when you view the entry in the C-Store. But it's called a 'Golden Tribble' and claims to only offer a health boost.
the tribble gives you 3 buffs instead of the max 2 thebred tribbles can give and yes its a once account purchase all toons hould be ablt o claim them except klingons of course the borg same thing yuo have to log your klingon in to claim the klingon bo hope this helps
both are character dependent... which absolutely sucks. I'm royally ****ed off. What a waste of C-Store money.
They are not
Once you buy an item (Gold Tribble/ Borg BO/ Conny) on one character it will be unlocked for him on all c-store pages.
However on other characters they are only free to claim under "Special Unlocks", if you try to get them off the "Featured" page it will charge you again.
It's probably a bug.
I've brought them once and have used them on three characters.

Confirming this to be true! (For Borgarella at least) Probably related to the TOS Enterprise bug I noticed earlier.
However, buying the Federation Borg Officer does not unlock the Klingon one on the same account. Which is fair, one supposes.

As far as the 'Tribble' is concerned, it may actually be character bound according to this Dev Post...
Last I heard, the expected functionality of the Tribble C-Store item is that it needs to be purchased individually for each character. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. I will let the team know that the UI is not completely clear about this.
The updated Tribble description in the C-Store now reads...
Tribble
(120 Cryptic Points)
Complete your tribble collection with the rare Polygeminus grex Rivera! This furry pet provides a bonus to damage resistance, damage and regeneration for Federation characters or bridge officers. Note: Purchase of this option unlocks the Rivera tribble for every Federation character on an account. Klingon characters do not get buffs from tribbles.

So who knows?
So it goes.
May be more cost effective to get hold of the Amazon / Target codes after all.
(Assuming the retail copies would get marked down as sale stock eventually)
