    Bummer, that. I was eyeing a few copies at the store last night. Thinking they might make a nice gift for a few friends (if I really wanted the Gal-X that badly). I was going to ponder it some more.

    But not if the ship is only available for one of my toons. :(

    (*I'll wait until it shows up on the C-Store, if that's the case)

    A few folks in my guild have one and they are extremely disappointed. I always imagined the Galaxy X as the end all, but from what i'm told its just a standard Tier 5 with an ability thrown in.

    Less than a standard T5 really... 1 less console, 1 less weapon slot.. You dont get the bonus from whatever skill points you put into any T5 ship skill, have to respec if your not skilled in phasers to get the most from the bonus weapon etc... your a huge target in PVP...

    Well the last one isnt a flaw really.. but its a pain !! :)

    It fires twice and I get 4-5k each time, with no skills at all spent in phasers, with 9 phaser skills I think it was about 9k each hit.

    So nothing great, with a few minutes cool down you get more dps from another beam if you had the extra weapon slot back.

    So the only thing thats a bonus is being able to cloak, and its not a battle cloak so its only good to line yourself up before a fight.

    Its the only cruiser that can have cannons as well, though they are not worth much as the boat turns way to slow to keep the target in front of you :) so you get more DPS out of another beam up front and ditch the cannons.

    Still in cap and hold PVP at least you can cloak around between the cap points.. only real bonus ive found so far :)

    That being said its nice to have something different, so I cant complain too much..

    I'm glad to read your post though Darkness01, I've been wondering if it'd be worth the trouble to recruit 5 people, but seems like it's not.

    I'm mostly a PvEer anyways and I like my science vessels a lot on my main char. It's unlikely that I'd switch out of it. I will try to recruit at least 1 person though since you get some really cool goodies already then. :D

    The Science BOF is pretty sturdy as well. Although it's ugly as sin.

    Wow! Talk about a total fail!! Tisk... tisk.. tisk... I expect it in the C-store soon based on that information alone. And it seems to be one per account to boot - woozers!!!

    Listen Sherlock, I'm sitting behind 100 mbit/s down, 10mbit/s up internet connection (and no, mbit/s wasn't a typo), so I don't really care if his files are 10mb per file.

    But trust me, my internet connection speed isn't standard. Far, far from it. Most folks have a far, far, far slower internet connection.

    Get some common sense and learn how to freaking screenshot properly. 3mb for a screenshot is not ok.

    Wow you're special cuz you have a fast connection maybe i'll cry to cryptic and they can put it on the cstore the filesize is right there if it's too much for some then don't click it people would ****h if you buried them with a new shovel
