Oi, the calendar says June 14th week for new C-store items. Are they added today?

As far as I know it's just a Klingon Bridge pack (Bird of Prey II). It was listed on the Calendar yesterday. Maybe they got some more stuff ready early?

I so remember when you were talking about they never should appear anywhere when the TOS uniforms started to be given out free. And Massive Online Gamers site is still passing out those codes yet Cryptic thinks they can get sales in the C-Store for them and the Wrath of Khans. LOL Shows they know suckers are born every day.
And yep, basically all pre order items will be up for grabs from the C-Store.
Almost all. No TR-116 rifle and wonder why that was left off the list.
Now it seems like maybe Wal-Mart had the best retail item of them all after all once the rifle hits. The skill points to start and can C-store anything else you wanted. I take back all the laughing I did to the people who bought the game from Wal-Mart now.
Actually the best bonus in retrospect turned out to be the free C-Points. One of my DDEs came with that and I was kicking myself at the time for ordering it directly through Atari and not one of the other retailers offering actual goodies.
So now I'm still kicking myself for ordering the DDE, just not for where I ordered it anymore. :rolleyes:
Oh yeah, that's right. I got mine from Atari directly too.
So was the red matter capacitor, the automated plasma defense turret, the chromodynamic armor and a couple other things I'm forgetting.
If they'd sent some of the CO costume design people over to STO and, as someone said in the stickied flame festival, had some other less chaste and more fanservicey stuff available that one could put on all their BOs (including off duty stuff, which BOs should be allowed), the demand for the MU uniforms wouldn't even be there. It's all about the navel baring and seeing the chests.
Yes I must agree with you there. I think at least some of the people claiming how 'iconic' the uniforms are might be exaggarating just a tad. Especially when you consider how many episodes those uniforms appeared in (one). At least Liberated Borg appeared in multiple seasons of Voyager.
There was nearly no fuss at all about the Mirror Universe uniforms until the exact day the female outfits were finally put in.
Yeah they did but the one thing about the rifle was it was given to one brick and mortar store unlike the others in the US.

I'll probably take a lot of crud for this, but I'd rather see some other playable races be cross-faction allowed for a fee. I used to play an Orion girl on a multiplayer text based trek RPG, one who was Starfleet proud and slept with a concussion rifle during some of the Borg incidents there. I'd love to be able to bring her back.
I am also curious why some didn't make it. Maybe it was part of their agreement with said retailer that they wouldn't offer their exclusives until either a certain date or until they had sold a certain # of copies? Just speculating if that were the case, Target may still have too many units on the shelves.
I was at Gamestop this weekend and they still had a copy of their regular edition with the Connie and the CE with Connie and 3 guest passes. It was still $50, but I was tempted to grab the one with the passes...
I'm rather surprised Federation Orions haven't been offered on the C-store yet. Its a popular request. I faked one with the 'alien' but not quite the same because the traits weren't available. But if they do, they should also sell Klingon side Humans or Vulcans. Fair is fair.
I wouldn't mind if they did. I'm guessing they'd be far less popular than UFP Orions, but... yeah, I wouldn't object to them being there. And I'd have Selena Meadows back in her Defiant within minutes of it being offered.
I could fake one as well, but without the traits, yeah. They should open more traits to alien builds, imo.
Depending on how much truly game altering stuff gets put in the c-store, I could mention another thing to sell for good cost as well, that doesn't violate exclusive or anything, but I don't because it's too close to pay for play, and would probably overrun the game. But given the chance to do so, I woulda paid good C-store cred to get more traits for my alien char.
IF I were at Cryptic, I'd start an NPC Vulcan group that doesn't play nice with the Federation. A "Sons of Sybok". And I could see them both being something that paves the way for Klingon Vulcans as well as advancing the Galactic Barrier plots that Cryptic has indicated an interest in. We know there are barriers at the center of the galaxy and the rim. We know people become godlike at the rim and that the center contained a false god. It could make for an interesting way to follow up on STV (something you'd likely never see addressed elsewhere aside from Peter David novels and the Shatnerverse).
Of course, in place of the "Mindmeld" ability, they'd have, "Take Pain" or something as a seduce type ability.
That strategy should work, as the items are tied to the code from the box, and thus have been available after "pre-ordering" became impossible (as in after the game launched).
I bought 2 extra copies of the game in May. And got all appropriate items from the other copies I bought.
And on this issue, I can do some digging, but I belive there is indeed gold text from ... Phoxe? ... Rehkan? ... confirming that yes, the items are meant to be available with purchase post-launch, and thus the codes are redeemable and you do get your items and that is intentional.
MJ Friedman visited the Galactic Barrier in some detail in two separate books of the Stargazer series, I'd love to see some of that make it into the game canon. it would add the barrier, add sectors, and even has its own enemy power on the other side to be running missions against, whereas the colony built by the survivors of the SS Valiant's escape pods would be 'sector base' possibly for doing it, to protect. Since they don't have a full starbase, perhaps a ground facility with a building or buildings.
That's another thing I'd like to see separately as a different issue though, is a ground based hub where one can go outside, on the UFP end.
Indigo did way back after launch by a couple of weeks. Phoxe and Litana did in April.
Heck yeah! Thanks for reminding me. It was your links that convinced me to make the extra purchases, as I really wanted those items and they were on sale at the time.

I found an old post that mentioned it was in fact Indigo that said it right after launch but couldn't find the actual link to Indigo's post about it. Since Indigo was doing it in reference to Amazon UK's blunder at launch, I didn't bookmark it not being in the UK. I wish I did though.
