You guys may as well take this off the shelf for the C-Store. The free code is all over the internet, and nobody in their right mind is going to pay for something they can get for free. My suggestion is unlock it for all accounts, make the parts unlocked. This way they can be used for fleet uniforms if desired.

You are assuming they will not be adding things to the costume pack.
Cryptic would be well aware the free code is all over the internet and often, posted on the forums.
I would not doubt, they are adding in other costume pieces, badges etc.. with these costume packs. Otherwise, even the TOS uniforms can be gotten for free still and only idiots would be spending c-store points on them.
Just wait till it comes out, it will have extra features.
Also assuming that Cryptic does not just take and cancel that code so nobody can use it anymore.
Which would be in their full right and perfectly reasonable as i doubt it was their intention for the WoK uniform to spread like wildfire....for free.

Umm, but i how would they handle these additons c-store-wise. I mean some people might actually have bought the dvd that gave them the code, and the TOS uniforms were available for free (this time legally). Full price then ?
It will certainly be an expanded uniform, probably incorporating all the stuff that people have requested in relation to the WoK uniforms. They have already made the open flap version of the uniform, make a few corrections for accuracy, add in a full set of correct rank markings, maybe sleeve service emblems, and the skirts with side-stripes.
If they are really ambitious, maybe NCO uniforms, and they can certainly expand it into a viable costume pack without rescinding the DVD code. That is, if the costumes were separate packs and not sold as one big multiple uniform pack.

Also, someone (Stormstryke, I think?) brought up the bloody hand print TWoK version (just to add to the variations they could do) in another thread. I'm hoping they are adding to the TWoK pack, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't, really.
I used mine for the first month or so after launch, but my character was bugged, and I couldn't take it off. I tried to change it out, but he wasn't having it. I sort of got sick of it, but now that the open flap choice has been added (or the bug fixed, whatever), I might use it occasionally, at least until we get some other good formal uniform options.
I would really like to see some of the suggestions you've mentioned to be added, though. If it's the same as the code that's currently out there, I don't think Cryptic will make too much off of it, heh. (Not to say they won't make anything; I just think not too much.)

But both the uniforms already have been expanded and those expanded characteristics were retroactive.
The TOS unis ... got the new skirt and top added. And everyone who has the TOS uni got the new skirt and top.
The WoK uni got the open flap added. And everyone who had the WoK uni got the open flap.
So ... I'm not sure I follow. If/when they continue to expand the uniform sets, why would the people who already have them (and many got them for free) not get the expanded parts since that's already been how it happened?

They can be on the c-store without charging cryptic points?
Wouldn't be the first time we see free stuff in the c-store.
I don't think they will make any changes to the uniform offered in the C-Store. A dev has already stated that the bonus items being added to the C-Store will not stack and if you have the item already from a retail box or digital download you would not be allowed to purchase it again. So, if they made changes to the uniform it would mean everyone who has it already would not be able to get the cool new stuff they added to it. I know that the codes for TWOK uniform are all over the place, but I am sure some people did buy the DVD set and get them the way they were supposed to. It seems like it would be unfair if you paid for the DVD set and then were not allowed to BUY the new and improved uniforms. Unless they gave the new stuff retroactively to the people who have it already, that would be a fair solution I think.

I hope they add the bloody hand print version of TWOK uniform. When I got the open flap version I was hoping you would be able to turn it on and off as an option in the tailor. If they added the bloody hand print version as a stand alone purchase in the C-Store i would buy it.
There are options that aren't just a variation on the basic uniform. If you remember from the movies, there's more than just the jacket and pants/skirt created. You have the engineering suit, Scotty's jacket, Kirk's vest, and more. If they put those up as part of the package, even though I DID buy the Season Three Blu-Ray set (I would've bought it even without the code) I might be tempted to purchase again just for those. If they include them free of charge, then so much the better. And, for the love of Roddenberry, fix the damn rank insignia. I want to be able to choose what I want to show, not be stuck with the captain pin. Please also include the option to put service pins on the sleeves. Seeing nothing but a blank strip of white there makes me a sad Trekkie.
