I bought my copy off of EBAY, but one of the GM's said it was still available, but I have heard some contradictory reports from both the Amazon, and other players that have purchased have recent copies of the game, but Ebay has them for super reasonable.
http://www.startrekonline.com/retail still shows Amazon as having the offer. if you registered your key and didn't get the Borg Officer Customer Support / Billing Support would add it to your account.
Other Retailers still selling the Borg Bridge Officer promotion (from the retail page) :
EBGames.AU (Australia) Note: Looks like it's the GOLD edition
Amazon.De (Germany) ; Silver Edition
CD.ON De (Germany) : Gold Edition
CD.ON Fi (Finland) : Gold Edition
GAME.FR (France) : Silver Edition
CD.ON No (Norway): Gold Edition
CD.ON Se (Sweeden): Gold Edition
So long as the referral page is active, Cryptic will honor the bonus item. Cheers.
I got my Amazon Borg BO last month. It was being sold by Amazon not a Marketplace seller. The was a sticker on the box indicating the Borg BO was included. My buddy purchased a copy from Amazon a little over 2 weeks ago at it was still included.
On a side note I think it's a good purchase for those needing a copy after their ability to play on a referral key expires.
Just to update everyone, the box didn't come with the borg bo sticker on it.
And I couldn't activate the code as I already have a gold edition registered. So I've raised a ticket. I wonder if they'll give me the borg bo anyway without using the number.....

It's possible to have multiple Retail keys bound to a single account. If you can't activate the key, could it be used???
You also have to make sure that you order directly from Amazon for a box shipped by Amazon, as Amazon affiliated Merchants do not share the Amazon specific vendor perk...

I am going to help you a little here. it appears that you can identify the code type by packaging. On the top of the plastic case is a seal with a 5-digit number:
Also, the first 5 digits of the registration appears to identify the key type
SRUS1 = S - Retail - United States -Offer 1
SRAM1 = S - Retail - Amazon Offer 1
SDDD1 = S - Digital - Digital Deluxe Offer 1
SCEGS = S - Collectors edition - ???
SCEAS = same
SCEBB = same
Wow, the UK got some cool box art. Why is it that US marketers are so terrified of putting space ships on their box art? Halo Wars, STO and Sins of a Solar Empire all had such awesome space battle looking art on their boxes in the UK and Japan, state side it's all solders and faces.
btw,if they gave away certain codes,with certain editions,that meant you could be ex-borg,why is the borg boff look like a full borg,and not an ex-borg too?just silly.

That's just the default appearance. My Borg BO is a real looker in her 'Wrath of Khan' uniform... (and this involves a nice trick to do so...) And they improved the selection of implants and eye accessories since the 'Borg BO' first appeared...
@MGDawson:
could you please provide me with some info, what exactly did you tell the support that they activated the borg bo for you ? (maybe as pm)
because, i just received my amazon gold edition yesterday and after key-activation and not finding the bo in the c-store, i also contacted them.. but it seems they cant or do not want to provide me with the bo.

Most of this thread is discussion of the Amazon US editions (which has the 'perk' bound to the Retail Key) Early shipments of Amazon UK had the 'Borg BO', and Amazon DE is listed as having it, but other Amazon sites do not have it...
After reading the Amazon.com return policy you can just buy a copy of the game and when you get it check to see if it shows the borg BO on the box.If it does not then simply return it and buy another one later after you get the refund/return. It is fully possible that you can/will get the borg BO from buying one copy. Also as it was also mentioned you can call Cryptics billing support for further aid to this.
well since they offer the borg bo in the c-store i don't see any point in buying a retail version of the game for 20-30, when the bo maybe will cost ~2-5
