Ship costume trouble...help please.

Ok, I'm new so maybe I'm missing something. I purchased the assualt cruiser costume from the c-store yet I cannot figure out how to get my cruiser to use the skin. (note: I bought the costume when I first started the game, at lt. rank 2 I think.)

If anyone can think of why this problem is occuring any help is appreciated.

    Ok I found the problem. they can only be used for rear admiral ships. mods can delete this post if they want.

    The Assault Cruiser Skin can only be used on Assault Cruisers, which are Rear Admiral (T5) ships. You can access it by modifying your Assault Cruiser at the ship customizer (make sure your Assault Cruiser is your active ship) and use the "Advanced" settings. The extra unlocked skins (I believe the only one for Assault Cruisers currently is the "Imperial" skin) can be selected through the drop down menus for the individual pieces.
