Gifting C-Store Items/Points to other people

Just a question; can items purchased in the C-Store be gifted to other people or can the C-Points purchaced be gifted?

I would love to be able to surprise my GF by buying her the Caitian species from the C-Store once they're available, but as far as I understand, I would have to actually log into her account to do that, which, I think, we're not supposed to be doing, right?

Is this a C-Store feature that can be looked at possibly being added in the near future? I think it would be very awesome, especially for fleets who want to be able to hold their own contests within the fleet and offer C-Store items as prizes to their fleet members, as well as my just being able to buy things for my friends from the C-Store as surprises.

    So far I don't see any way to do it. There's no options in the C-Store to "buy as a gift" and ther'es no similar option when buying C-Points on the website :(

    I support this idea and am franly shocked it was not an option from day one.

    Was moments away from making this exact thread before I saw there already was one. Yes, I'm hugely in favour of this idea for a number of reasons. I have friends who don't want to spend real money on in-game items, so I'd love to be able to get stuff for them so they have more content to play around with. It would be a great option to have, and from a business perspective it means more sales in the C-Store and more people enjoying the stuff in it.

    Plus, I see a lot of players with really stupid names that I'd like to buy "Captain Rename Tokens" for :p
