Ferengi and Other Alien Options

I've stayed away from this game since beta, but I recently heard about a demo for it, so I decided to look into it. I then remembered that Ferengi had to be bought from the C-Store, and was about to forget about it. However, I also remembered that my Champions Online copy came with some Cryptic Bucks, and wondered if they were universal. Upon discovering that, yes, they were, I got myself set up with the demo (which was a lot more trouble than it should have been, you guys might want to look into that).

I quickly created a gibberishy captain to get into the game just so I could buy Ferengi, return to the character screen, and delete him.*

I had fun creating the Ferengi and he turned out very well, but I was extremely disappointed by a few things, especially since this is a race you technically have to pay extra for.

There are almost no options other than the default proportions.

I assumed this was a beta thing back in beta, but it's ridiculous to ask people to pay for a race that has less options than the initial ones. Worse still, these options do not account for the variety we have seen in the Ferengi race in the shows. Where's the hideous leathery wrinkles of Zek? The separate earlobes he has? You cannot mess with the ears at all. The race description mentions their teeth, but these are not visible on your character at all. I understand that a Starfleet captain probably wouldn't be scowling at everyone they meet, but the teeth are an extremely iconic part of the race that is simply missing.

EDIT: I was mistaken about this part:
I'm also annoyed at options for other races that were removed after beta and not returned. I know my brother would love to play a Cardassian, but those options are now gone. They originally implied, as far as I recall, that options from a variety of races, even ones that they hadn't officially added, would be available to make in the creator. It seems with Cardassians, however (unless there's some upcoming news I'm not aware of, which wouldn't be surprising), that they're waiting for their faction to be added or something. Well, Cardassians are at the bottom of the next faction poll, so please just add their options back.

*As a quick side note, having races on the C-Store will often cause silly stuff like this because this isn't a game where people will be creating characters left and right since there's so few slots. In some cases where someone might prefer these races, like mine, you're asking for an additional fee, arbitrarily, before I can even start playing.

i completely agree about the Ferengi options, its why i havent made one as a captain so far.

but with regards to the cardassian options in the creator, i made one just fine, the options are there, just not labeled as cardassian

Oh wow, you're right, I'm sorry for that misunderstanding then.

On the other hand, it doesn't seem Ferengi options like four-lobed head were added to the creator when I gained access to Ferengi.

took me a while to find them all, if you want the neck, the way i did it was to put the neck scales on, then apply as much bulk to the neck as i could, it's not quite show accurate, but its close.

Just click the rubbermask link in my sig. There are more flaws than I can count with a four-lobed brain.

Cardassians should also be given the option to have a wide neck, not just a bulky one. Plus, the hair options for any alien with something on the forehead, Cardassians obviously included, are really really poor.
