Query about the Galaxy X reward ship.

Are there any real Official, as in from Cryptic or Atari, links that actually have details on the capabilities, weapons, BO slots, etc of the ship?
I have seen many threads discussing all of those subjects, but can;t find any Official thread or post with confirmation of them.
Then again, picking out really useful info about a specific subject is a challenge to say the least with so many other non-infomative threads and post.
Any help, especially from an actual Developer person, would be greatly appreciated.
Also...
In the thread on the Atari support page it says this about it:
This Tier 5 vessel will be cleared for active duty and released from the Utopia Planetia Shipyards when Season One, Update Two releases. Once it is available it may be claimed by all Federation & Klingon characters on an account however it may not be cosmetically edited via the ship tailor.

Does this mean I, as a dedicated Klingon player, could refer 5 friends and be rewarded with it also?
Be able to fly it in PvP as well as PvE?
Again, some Official confirmation or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

    I'm assuming that's a mistake.
There is no way CBS would ever let that one slide.
    Oh wait they don't care.

Considering they offer no comparable Klingon-specific reward, I think it's only fair if the Klingons are able to get the same reward for the same effort. I would prefer if there was a Klingon-reward ship, but, it'll do.
If course, I kinda think the whole game should work that way...I know...that's silly...
The Klingons are only here to "compliment" the Feds.

This is info I would really like confirmed. If it's true what Atari is saying about this ship being a multi-faction ship, it will keep balance in PvP. I just wish the Klingon faction had its own ship skin for it. I'm still trying to find out where people are getting their info on it having cloak and a super beam that will shoot through anything.

Anyone that wants to see it with their own eyes here is Atari's link where it says both factions have access to it. (When you go to the link I posted click the link on the right side of the page called "What is the Star Trek Online Referral Program?") http://www.atari.com/support

And you see nothing wrong with the Klingons flying the top of the line Federation starship?

Well he did mentioned that he would prefer a Klingon version. If he was going to invest time into getting 5 referrals so he could get this ship, he should at least know if he will get access to it where he would want to use it. How would you feel if it was only the Klingons getting a ship for referrals with no Fed version? If they let the Feds have the ship as well, would you still be happy to take that version on the Fed's side? I can totally agree that it would be odd and very immersion breaking but rewarding one faction and not another for the same effort can be very upsetting and downright unfair.

With some Klingons feeling like they're an afterthought this could be the final straw (not mine but still) that broke the camel's back. Understand it from our side.....we are still waiting for things to be added (things that should already be in game) and we see plenty of new ship skins, outfits and races coming out that we don't have access to.

By the way I'm not complaining, I'm just trying to show you another point of view. Also I don't mean to speak for all you fellow warriors out there but I'm sure there are a few of you that can agree with what I'm saying.

I was going to type my own answer to his statement, but yours has pretty much said all I would have.
    Well put, sir.
I would very much prefer NOT to fly a Fed ship,
I take it you see nothing wrong with dedicated Klingon players simply getting nothing for their efforts to promote this game to 5 friends and convince them to buy the game and start paying to play even tho doing so as a Fed gets them a special ship that you can't get any other way?
I'll bet that if it was the reverse, there would be HUGE protest over it.
Look how so many Feds complain constantly now about how OP Klingon ships are, they have cloak, etc.
I am one of those who did not buy STO to play as a Fed.
I wanted to fly Klingon at the start. After finding out I had to fly Fed for a time before "unlocking" Klingon, I came very close to not even buying the game, but the Fleet of Klingons I was already CO of from SFC2 wouldn't hear of it and convinced me otherwise. My Fed is still Lt 6 and I have played since BETA.
In hindsight, if I had not paid for a lifetime when it was cheap before game launch, I would have definitly cancelled my subscription by now due to the utter lack of Klingon content.
For now I hang onto the hope that since Cryptic did admit that it was an oversight on their part not having more didicated Klingon content and they were working hard to get more content for them as soon as they could.

And you see nothing wrong with Klingons getting nothing for their effort to recruit? If people have to bust their balls to get 5 people to sign up, then the Klingon players should have SOMETHING, even if it's the Galaxy-X. Klingon players get the short straw in every update, even in the upcoming Season Two patch the Feddies get the lions share of stuff. I'd rather see it as a unique Klingon ship, say the BoP that can fire while cloaked from STVI, but something is better than nothing.
The Klingons are only here to "compliment" the Feds.

QFT. The Klingon base is currently nothing more than a glorified Monster Play.

Yeah, Ty...I saw that one after I made my OP. I'm more interested in the answer to my second question more than the first at this point.
Wll both Klingon and Fed have access to the same reward for the same effort?

Wow, thats going to look strange as a KDF ship.

Hopefully they can knock out a D7 model with the same abilities or something.

According to the latest Engineering Report, they're looking into getting something for Klingon players, but there has been no official release yet as to what (if anything) it is.

I read that as well, made me very happy but also a little worried. I at least know to some degree what the Galaxy-X can do, so far I like it (even if it's a Fed luxury cruise ship) but who knows what ours will be. If it's a cruiser with universal BO slots I would be in heaven! I could even do without that super beam if I had it.

All I ask is...make it like Warf's super sized Negh'Var and give it a 30 second cooldown on ramming speed, cause I'm going full speed into that Fedball!

They "look into" getting a lot of things for Klingons, but it always seems to take a long time to get done, and by long time I mean hasn't happened yet in many cases. Meanwhile teh Federation gets, oh, I don't know, something like off-duty clothes, new C-store species, MU uniforms, a tier 5 reward ship, etc, etc.

Cryptic just seems to have their head very far up their butt most of the time when it comes to providing Klingons any consideration. Where's the guy at the meeting that's supposed to be asking "What about the Klingons, what do they get?"

I'm totally on the same page as you. I am as frustrated as you are about the lack of Klingon love. I was just answering someone who asked what the devs have planned regarding the referral reward. Knowing Cryptic, they'll end up offering nothing for Klingon players....seems to be standard operating procedure around there. :(:eek:
