Don't I feel like an idiot, already recruited my friends, ya recruited back in the open beta when I liked what I saw... no retro credit... no game or star trek fans left to recruit.
Guess in the future I will just have to wait to refer my friends to a game to get the cool promo items? Is this really a good business plan?
Nope its bull ****. I recruited 4 people to play. OUR PAST RECRUITMENTS SHOULD ****ING COUNT. im sorry but its bull, i know no one else willing to play sto.
they figure if you don't have friends to recruit they'll get you to just open 5 more accounts yourself to unlock the goodies.....if that even works, got no clue but it wouldn't surprise me if you could in fact open 5 more accounts under your own name subscribe for a month and get the goodies.....for a mere....er....$225 or so? ughh
Having now read the FAQ's for the referral program, I can only conclude.
Giving a friend the buddy key from my CE... BAD IDEA
Inviting a friend to try the open beta and encouraging them to actually buy the game.... BAD IDEA
Doing anything to help Cryptic to boost subscribers and point out the games potential when the game was still rough.... BAD IDEA
I feel very abandoned by Cryptic, and feel my support for this game has been unappreciated. There is at least one lifer that I recruited to this game... and that counts for naught.
FYI I went from unhappy to angry reading your FAQ's, if I had failed as a recruiter at release and before, for this game I would yet be able to get credit for boosting it now. Because I succeeded I get nothing. What a way to rub me the wrong way guys.
I know! I recruited TWO now subscribers and I got nothing because, they didn't start that stupid program. I have one more fried who may join, I just hope he does, or I will be very ticked off at Cryptic.
The whole thing is a scheme to get Cryptic some fast revenue without having to do any actual work.
Thus people who have already been recruited and played will not add *new* money now, will they?
Where is the Klingon equivalent of the Galaxy X? Doesn't Cryptic want Klingons to recruit friends?
When Crytic has their meetings to discuss these rewards (or other upcoming content) why isn't there someone asking "But what about the Klingons?" It's like Klingons don't exist!
Where's the Klingon off-duty clothing?
Where're the Klingon Mirror Universe uniforms?
Where are the Klingon C-store playable species?
Where is the Klingon content? If there's time and other resources to give all this to the Fed and Klingons are obviously so far behind in content, WHY IS THE FED GETTING ALL THE GRAVY?
