Plus they're eating all the poisoned cake! WIN!

*Wanders into the thread, passing by the coffee cake, his body obscuring it for a moment. There's a blur of movement and suddenly the coffee cake is gone.*

    URP!

I'm not sure why or how this post made it's way into this thread but it is here nonetheless. Do with it what you will.

Cappy's really lightened up on the whole mallet thing, which means she's either gotten us well trained or she's got a sore arm.

Does the phrase, "false sense of security'" mean anything to you? <jumps at sound>

What was that? <jumps at another sound> Hello?

<Shadow falls over P.R.O.P.H.E.T. who screams and runs through 50 walls of scenery like the tennis shoe wearing hair monster from that Bugs Bunny cartoon>

Apparently she just needed to get it fixed - and probably reinforced.

Good, now that the computer is back, hopefully to stay.... 1 mobo and 3 video cards later....

Blew the Mobo and Video, still under Apple warranty, so they fix (for free $ wise, about a week each time wise), lather rinse repeat 3 times. Lets see if the 3rd replacement video card holds longer than the 3 to 4 days it's prior 2 brothers did.

It's hot here. Car thermometer popped 104 while picking kids up from school. Yee Ha!

    Had some earthquakes too.

    Me likey So Cal.

I have never heard of a tower burning out cards and components so often. Either they don't have a clue what they are doing when building it or you have a serious power issue in your house. My money is on Magneto was putting your computer together.

Apple iMac, running Windows 7 in a separate partition. Not a tower. Why would power go that bad? Been on same outlet for 2 years. Had a computer or three on that outlet for 17 years....

I think the "techs" just replaced the blown part but didn't troubleshoot why it was failing.

Meh, either way they owned up to it and are replacing it in full. They don't make 24" iMacs anymore so the replacement will be a 2 year newer 27" model. Very cool and offsets the pain of having to redo the bootcamp setup and windows reinstall.

Haven't been ignoring you for about 4 days now you butt, I just didn't respond to you directly. BTW still not on my friend's list in Steam.

Steam's futzed up on my desktop, I actually haven't even fired it up since I moved last week.

It starts up, lets me fire up a game, then shuts itself down.

    Isn't that lovely?

Indeed. Though Railworks always works for me.
