I'm glad Dominos finally fixed their stupid website today! For the past few weeks, I haven't been able to online order through them (excluding me from some good promotions) because something got messed up and it was diverting my orders to a store that was significantly further away than the one that is two blocks up the street. Pizza for breakfast! One game to watch out for on Steam is Postal 3. It's cheap, it's a decent game from what I am told, but it doesn't work at all on Windows 8.1. Steam are absolutely useless when it comes to support with it as well. I tried so many thing to fix it (including modding game files) that I had to reinstall it to try a few more. It's a DRM issue that Steam needs to update but they are not interested in taking your money and could care less if the game works for you or not.

Store Steams irritating because i tried to go down list and ala carte DLC for Total War Empire and it kept going back to the featured ones they were pushing and not the DLC list of the things i wanted when i hit add to cart and back to store or something
There have been a lot of bugs more recently with the Steam client. It makes me wonder if that is what is causing the issue you are having.

the humble bundle gift never d/l to the libary list no titles are set there
the creative assembly total war did automaticly find the base gaem and add on to its units and expansion pack with no problem. the update they did recently.. changed the layout of the activity friends page and takes more then 1 log in attempt .it wasent findign the active internet conenction many times when i tiold the fire wall the new steam was ok.
I have seen the no active internet connection error a few times on it. I had no other issues with the rest outside of Postal 3 not working for me thanks to Steam not updating the game files with the game makers patch to remove the DRM from it. I'm not too sure what your issue is with teh Humble Bundle but that was pretty straight forward to add. I know Z had no ssies with it at all and she joined Steam not too long before JC bought her one of those.

hadent really used steam it was basically inactive until cryptic had a deal with them for champions online if you logged in using steam you received a holiday costume item or two..[3 years plus w steam]
problem was you had to hack and change the ini line code yourself they were too lazy to code it in themselves so the TSA file check would kick in like you were hacking and cheating.. just to get a free item.. sloppy sloppy.
As tgo the Bundle of Humble nice things it ask to log into steam via the email confirmation ;everytime i hit the macro for the item it hung tryign to d/l but never showed up in the library as a installed item or anything on the stand alone steam profile page game activity no where

The less games I have to run Steam for, the better in my opinion. I really don't like having to run thins int he background, even if they don't take up a lot of resources. The only thing that makes Steam tolerable is that the games on there tend to be too good of a deal to pass up at times. With Star Trek Online, I will not install it through Steam to avoid ARC temporarily. Add to that CaptainGeko's continued assault on the players just makes it a good time to finally move on with the others I know. PWE needs to seriously understand that the only reason the STO team has a job is because we play and pay for the half done extras we all wish were of better quality. Until ARC, you just might see me around trying to claim that free KDF ship and playing the Winter event. My DKF toon isn't at level 5 yet and I can't purchase the free ship because I already have one ship that I can't seem to discharge.

yeah without buyign ship slots.. its still not hard to fill them up.. and its too bad you cant assign a ship to fleet base defence from your roster to free a slot..
I managed to finally claim i. Z suggested I ditc the shuttle (since it wouldn't allow me to ditch the ship) and that allowed me to claim the free C-Store ship. They really need to do something about the length of that tutorial! I trued what I thought was the new tutorial back whent hey first released it for hte KDF but getting through all of that (which took me two play sessions) apparently wasn't all. My toon is at Lt. 5 and I'm still stuck doing tutorial missions. Will it ever end?! *screams*

That used to be the trick drop a normal shuttle to free now the ship shuttle list look separate.. getting free ships along with c-store i ran out on some tunes and had to cut my Miranda.

I think I had used the shuttle slot to claim the free C-Store shuttle during the last giveaway. It would be nice is Cappy checked in with us before Christmas. I'm sure she will though. She loves us way too much not to.

Considering her move was an epic one, getting settled and everything isn't easy, as she stated with her internet. Rural life is a pain for technology and the commute just gets longer as well. A longer commute is why I'm guessing we don't see her anywhere near as often. With Christmas approaching fast, she will find some free time. We just have to wait patiently.
