    I've thought about getting a bird for some time, but I know nothing about taking care of them, so I'm waiting until I have a chance to do the proper research before I get one.

    My girlfriend and I are big on pets. We've got two cats, a snake, a betta, and we had two ferrets, but had to get rid of them, because they kept getting into fights with the cats. We were genuinely worried the cats were going to kill them.

    Definitely do research before getting a bird like the one in my avatar. They are picky, needs a really good diet and TONS of attention.

    Also, if you do decide to get one, DON'T go to a pet store and get one. Search online for a breeder. You will save tons of money and they will be hand tamed right off the bat.

    I can get mine to lay on their back and gently wrestle with toys and my hand.

    I haven't looked at sources yet but that's good to know. I try to avoid pet stores when I can; both of our cats were rescued, and the snake is from a breeder.

    My brother-in-law would be happy to hear that Haz. He's an herper and does snake rescue and breeding. He hates pet stores because too often they mistreat their animals.

    I have one cat, the family has eleven total. Idiot just rejoined us after staying with my cousin when she moved out. He's the alpha, but he's also an old man. My little Sally is behind me at the heater.

    O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo?
    Deny thy father and refuse thy name;
    Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
    And I'll no longer be a Capulet.

    'Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
    Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
    What's Montague? it is nor hand, nor foot,
    Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
    Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
    What's in a name? that which we call a rose
    By any other name would smell as sweet;
    So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call'd,
    Retain that dear perfection which he owes
    Without that title. Romeo, doff thy name,
    And for that name which is no part of thee
    Take all myself.

    No, if he was claiming her it'd be "Freudin" (girlfriend) or "Frau" (wife, or literally, woman).

    A Fraeulein is a young woman, the equivalent of "maiden."

    mmm, no, I was focusing more on the use of mein. He could have said "Guten tag Freulien Cappy" which then would be "Good day Miss Cappy", but with mein in there, it comes out "Good day my Miss Cappy."
