Vanished Bridge Officer Abilities W/Photo

So I'd made a post about this before, but no one replied either because so many downtime complaints or they just couldn't understand the problem. So I'm including a screenshot.

Like I said before (and I've already filed a bug report via gm ticket), is that my bridge officer abilities on one character and one character alone, (any new characters don't suffer the same issue) have literally vanished. I can retrain their abilities at the BO trainer, I can spend points into them, and their ground abilities work. However in space, it gets screwy. Their abilities neither show up in the ability window where you can drag said abilities to your action bar (P window by hotkey), or on the screen next to their name.

Ah but you're going to assume I haven't assigned their roles correctly, you'd be wrong. I have checked it over many times, they are assigned right. Their abilities are on the assignment screen. They are in the correct assignment slots (tactical in tactical, engineer etc...). And none of the abilities are shaded out or red, they are all 100% good to go as far the assignment screen is concerned.

I already got a reply from the bug department, however I really love my character, and spent several hours getting her looks right, and what this problem to actually be resolved, so it's my last resort to come here and make a stink about it in hopes that someone has encountered it, overcome it, or maybe a fix for it will be included in a patch.

Also ironically I am unable to delete this character. However I can delete any other character I wish.

    Run a full file check. Do the BO's skills show when you are in another ship?

    Nope, I have a cruiser and an escort, and they don't work in either. The problem started while I still had the starter class ship too.

    How would one run a full file check?

    from the launcher, hit options, then force verify. then ok. It will scan for any mismatching files.

    If this doesnt work, then you could try a reinstall.

    On a side note, if you have the character looking the way you want, next time in the character creator, click save at the bottom. It will save the full character look for you, incase you want to duplicate it.

    Ah thank you I'll try that! I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, but haven't run a verify.

    It wouldn't help since I can't delete the character either, but thanks for the idea.

    I ran the verify you spoke of, logged in, and still have the problem. :(

    I'm at a loss to what to do here, I don't wanna have to delete my engineer or sci officers to have a working tactical officer since theres only 3 slots but tactical is my favorite so far, I really wanna play it ahhhh

    Seeing as I've already installed and uninstalled so much already, I don't think doing it again will fix anything.

    Yeah, since this is tied to just one of your characters and the others are working fine, it has to be an account issue on Cryptic's side...probalby some sort of corrupted data in your character's database entry. These things happen and support should be able to reset it.

    hey phoxe... i got an issue with one of my BO's after the aceton field fix... when i trained a BO in aceton field it went to ground skill, then once i put a couple of points in (IE the first time i hit accept) it dropped down to space skill...

    now i have an engineer BO with 2 space skills aceton field and revers shield polarity. but no tier 3 ground skill.

    i can't train over it it says unknown node, but it really is only a disadvantage in pvp..... err.... advantage rather :P
    i did put a ticket in as soon as i found it, just lettin you guys know don't even mind having tier 3 cleared so i can start over don't like bein unfair ya know...
