Arm disappears during bat'leth twirl

Anyone else using a bat'leth and notice their left arm disappear during a 121 or 212 (AoE bat'leth twirl)?
It's kind of unnerving.
I am seeing this as a Federation Klingon, unsure if it happens with other races/genders.
Edit: By 121 or 212 I mean alternating attacks of left and right bat'leth strikes. I use this notation based on where they appear by default on the keyboard.
