Stuck on wrong mission! Please Help!

I am in the first series of missions, and finish destroying 4 damaged Borg probes. I was warping to the next part, destroying 4 active Borg probes when I was booted. Now, I am in the area with the damaged probes, but my objective is to destroy active probes! Can I jump to the next part of the mission on my own? I went around and destroyed plenty of damaged ones again, but my bridge officer won't give me the option to move on.

Am I stuck? (No big deal since I'm not very far in. I'll just make a new character if necessary.)
