You guys DO realize that every single webclick causes server responses, data transmission etc, etc ... so with all your flaming you CONSUME ENERGY ... just wanted to point that out if you planned to rally against global warming anytime soon ... and NO whining wont make the server go online, tech staff will (and they wont even read your posts ;))

you have got to be kidding me......have you seen some of these other MMO launches? this is not at all a bad head start. Talk to some people about what it was like when EQ1 first launched or even worse AO!!!

we are defending it as it did and is doing a very good job so far in campareison to MANY other MMO launches if it was as bad or worse then them i would back you fully but ANYONE that thinks you can know what 10k-50k people logging on at 1 time with god knows how many dif types of comp setups in all parts of the world is going to do and have all bugs fixed and ready with 10 back ups of.....everything is a moron. Even you can not predict what will happen to your own computer serfing the web not with 100% even if you are a techie or a hacker you can not know for sure and that is only 1 computer that you have to deal with.

If you find a 80.00 car let me know I will buy it the random shut downs be dammed ..........lol

    Madness?

    This. Is. Star. Trek. Offline!

On that note, maybe Cryptic is secretly owned by Sony Offline Entertainment?

Anyone want to lay odds on whether we'll get to 300 pages before the servers are up?

I'm pretty disappointed. This was my only day to really relax and play till next weekend. :(

Shouldn't these threads be locked so that when they actually do post something useful we don't have to shuffle through pages to figure out what's going on in this extended beta err I mean head start, my bad?

Everyone stop having rage black outs please, better yet do have them it'll keep the whining down.

To this I reply, By surviving the deadliest engine of destruction 1974 had to offer!
You may want to shield yourself with your desert menus.

There was a real nasty bug today with quests not giving the rewards, so maybe the downtime is a good thing. All I missed out on were 2 green items, but imagine if someone lost out on a blue... they'd be ****ed.

Yeah I'm hoping the BO bug is fixed as well. Don't wanna miss any more.

I really really hope we don't have to re-roll.

    How about some Trek trivia?

I won't mind starting over again... I've already been jipped out of two bridge officers and a few other useful trinkets. Bring all you people that are ahead of me back to my line... yeah! :)
