    You don't choose the server on Eve, but i think they have multiple servers linked.

    Ok, who was the brilliant individual at Cryptic who forgot to put new batteries in the ZuZu Pets before starting them up this morning to provide power to the server?? This person should get a poor employee evaluation...

    i think you cant really compare that. i think the number of players in STO is a lot higher then the 45k or something Eve has on an average ... afaik their peak was at 60k or something.

    Servers being down, that I can live with. But the forums lagging, that's just unacceptable, I'm sueing the forums!

    I think the do not know that the need more than one server cluster in a mmoprg (mmo wtf.) But more Servers mean more money... But we have to pay ;-)

    I guess setting up an european server wouldn't be a bad idea - lower ping, getting some stress off from the US server...

    Everyone was getting stress off the server, they really need to cluster some more on to it.

    I never liked the idea of one server. Star Trek is such a huge cultural phenomenon it really should be broken up into several dedicated servers.

    Looks like Cryptic bit off more than they can chew this time.

    Guess I'll play Mass Effect 2 while I wait;)
