in PS4 Gameplay Bug Reports
The Holobolt Heavy Cannon experimental weapon received with the Hirogen Predator T6 lockbox ship does not have the option to upgrade.

    No, Protected Status isn't currently enabled. I've toggled it on and off again just to be certain, and the weapon remains non-upgradeable with either status.
