Combat Tardigrade pet follow/movement bugged?

Just bought this from the Zen store... when summoned, it doesn't follow me at all like others do... only when I engage in combat, it tries to slowly lumber over to join me from a galaxy far, far away... but the fight is usually over already... hence, it's been pretty useless so far

Therefore, I must assume this is a pet mechanic game bug, correct? Hopefully this can get fixed soon since it's a Zen store product. Would love to have my big Tardigrade buddy join me in combat someday! Thanks!

Hey there, thanks for looking into this! I've attached a few images of this. You can see that the Tardi stays put, no matter how far I run away from it. Thanks again!

Are you using this on your own toon? I'm using this on a member of my away team and have no issues. Try slotting it to an away team member to see if you get a difference. If so try slotting it back to your toon and see if the issue you are having returns.

Hey again, I went ahead and equipped the Tardi to an away team BOff, entered combat, and it summoned for the combat. But once combat stops, it still just stays put and doesn't follow us at all. Attached a screen of this, marked the BOff that it's equipped on too. Thanks!

I'll ping in a mod @darkbladejk might be able to offer more dark is my go to person for anything in game from ship builds to ground combat.

@battlestar#5696 does it only do this on Nimbus or does the tardigrade pet act up in other areas too? Nimbus is rather screwy at the best of times.

hey Dark, thanks, I just tried in ESD and in Voth Ground Battlezone, and Sir Tardi still doesn't wanna follow me anywhere! I see people running around with their Nanopulse Targs and Laser Dinos following obediently, and am a very jealous of them.

Just tried again, this time in mission "Of Signs & Portents -> Adamant"... same result... Tardi doesn't enjoy my company.
