Account-wide item search

Pretty much what the title says.
I got over twenty characters on my account, and I know I have an item I want to use on one of them, just cannot recall which one. That means logging into each toon, checking their inventory and bank individually.
Not sure how the data is stored, but if it were possible, an account-wide search could remove a lot of tedious sorting and searching, freeing time to play.

ESO has an addon for that, it is incredibly handy there and something like that would be great here.
